How to download: The two sheets are in PDF format. You will need the Adobe Acrobat reader to access them. BBC Webwise has a complete guide to downloading and installing this.
The 'rare' chimneys on the checklist include; G1 - Crown Top Round, M2 - the Smoke Cure / Spiral Vent and D2 - Ornamental Round / Doulton chain pattern.
Lance's favourite places for chimney spotting include: Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield - because they were "serious about their pots".

I downloaded the chimney pot drawings and was sad that my two pots (removed from a Victorian cottage) are not shown. Also, I respectfully would like to add that "octagonal" in the descriptions - that's eight sided - should surely read "hexagonal" - thats six sided, as one of mine is. I will photograph mine and send it in.
