When does spring start for you?
After the gloomy winter we've just had, we're all desperate to see some sign that spring is finally here. Carol Kirkwood headed to Gloucestershire to see one of the finest - a golden carpet of wild daffodils. Watch the film.
Smaller and more delicate, the native daffodil is actually quite rare. But they can be found in the ancient woodlands dotted across the country.
But is the daffodil the only sign that spring has sprung? Let us know what signs tell you that the season has finally taken a turn for the warmer. Tell us here.

where I live, lots of baby rabbits, bouncing in and out of the hedges and brambles, that will be round about May I Think? but my first sign of spring is now! lots of snowdrops in the fields near were I live. in May I'll be just up the road in Bluebell Woods, gathering bunches of lovely scented Bluebells. Back end of august, beginning of September, I'll be just up the road again, picking blackberries, and making a batch of scrumptious blackberry jam, I live in Northumberland, land of beautiful countryside, and sandy beaches. Without carrying out a DNA analysis how would you know that a small daff was indeed a wild type rather than a small cultivated or a cross?
