I was going to post my usual moan on Friday...the staff/spectators/guests in the background. Drives me nuts and must be quite off putting for those in front of the camera.
I do wish they would put a stop to this, as it looks so unprofessional (in my opinion). It always reminds me of that bloke McCrirrick on C4 racing, when all these herberts suddenly try to get into the shot behind him and make complete prats of themselves.
Good guest on Friday, but spare me the bleeding heart Kay Adams.

Why didn’t Adrian have a photo of St. Philip’s Cathedral in Birmingham if he’s comparing it with the twin town of Milan? Or either of the other two cathedrals here in Brum. He could have held up the space age Selfridges if he was showing Birmingham’s twin town of Chicago. He’s not a very loyal Brummie, and quite a miserable bloke most of the time.

Of course, the comments site was closed over the weekend. There was a section of Friday's show devoted to homosexuals and the BBC evidently wanted to avoid the obvious comments.
Is homosexuality accepted by the general public? Where does The One Show go, but into homosexual areas for a one sided opinion. One thing that has been mentioned in the media of late after a certain "Question Time" show namely that the majority of the British populace find the sight of homosexuals kissing revolting. For opinion of this, don't go to homosexual bars or clubs, go to normal working men's pubs.
This is said to be the opinion of the "silent majority". Why is the majority silent. It is because to publicly declare an opinion that the sight of homosexuals kissing is abhorrent could possibly mean the loss of one's job. Don't believe me? Try saying that in The One Show's Green Room.
As for Christine stating that she didn't believe that "such attitudes" were prevalent today, well Christine get out of your little cosy PC BBC cocoon, open your eyes and above all - Listen

Well Phil, it's hardly surprising the BBC should be pushing for such openness, they are more left than Trotsky after all.
Let's face it any public acts of affection should be kept to the stricktest minimum.
Who wants to see people drooling over each other in public?

Philesstein....to a degree he is right,,,walk into a macho working mens club filled with no brains and dole people and they will spit on the floor drag their knuckles to the bookies and tell you they hate gay people kissing in public,,,they cant stop talking about it.
and the one show was so terrified of comment(comment they pay no attention to in any way) that they stopped the website working,,,yeh really

I always assumed you carried out some of your fund raising in the very atmosphere you vilify. [Hopefully I misunderstood you}

blog 17...host ryan......if the blog is so important,an interactive event with a host called ryan why didnt someone at the one show notice on the friday during the show that no blogs were appearing?
or is it as we suspect that the blog is not really read by "the team" and is certainly not reviewed on the evening during and just after the show?

jadedoldie . i meant that it doesnt happen,,,i spend 3 nights a week minimum in pubs n clubs and it isnt like that at all...the point i was trying to make was that it isnt like that.....thats why i put ,yeh really at the end!!!!!
