Dear One Show Production Team,
Tonight’s show was another classic endeavour of light entertainment. The emphasis very much on the light.
The show reminded me of school science lessons when I would watch air being evacuated from a bell jar and as a consequence a flame slowly extinguishing as its supply of oxygen ran out.
The teacher would then go on to emphasise that the experiment demonstrated, amongst other things, that it would be very difficult for life to exist in a vacuum.
Tonight, contrary to those established scientific principals, the One Show appears to have demonstrated that some forms of life can in fact exist quite happily in a vacuum after all.
Truly “edgy” and amazing.
I was going to suggest that next week the One Show presenters demonstrate how viewers could build their own 3d Interstellar map of the universe.
Upon reflection perhaps not. Let’s just keep working on the basics.

I like Adrian and Christine presenting the One Show. The two are opposites, as in Christine is a bubbly person with a happy disposition, whilst Adrian on the other hand is the perverbial "miserable old git" character. For me, the two different characters make the program, and I always look forward to watching the show.
The one thing I would like to happen is for Carole to be reinstated. She didn't deserve to be sacked.

Agreed Zimmer but I doubt whether Carol will ever be reinstated as a roving reporter on The One Show.
In my own opinion, I feel she's better off elsewhere than being with a bunch of morons like Brand and Chiles on The One Show.
It's never wise to retrace one's steps but I do feel that Jay Hunt acted far too hastily. She got her apology and Carol apologised to those to whom she felt took offence but she refused to apologise unconditionally.
Why should she? To do so would confirm she was being racist when she clearly was not.
I would not have done so either.

If you are going to publish a summary of the live show before it actually happens, just use the present tense ... (e.g.)

Otherwise you are actually lying to the audience (contrary to Ofcom regulations) by stating that something has happened when in fact it hasn't.

I couldn't care less about CT, I jumped with joy when Scotland became a Tory-free zone when her Ma was in power.
What bothers me is this -
Ross sends disgusting messages to an OAP on air -result...a 3 months ban which was as much use as a chocolate fireguard, anyone who saw his return could see that he was not in the least contrite....seemed to think it was a grand whizz.
Clarkson, the brain of Britain, makes remarks about disabilities and his dislike of Scots and gets away with it.
Brand (Jo thing) spouts foul language at every oportunity, no action.
The BBC is very selective methinks

A labour council has withdrawn funding for the St George's Day parade through West Bromwich next April because it is racist.
The parade is the celebration of the patron saint of England which has been held in the West Midlands for the past 10 years.
Do I detect the hand of Adrian Chiles somewhere?

When will the BBC do away with their licence fee, they say they don't advertise, and that's the justification for the licence fee, yes they do they advertise themselves, i.e. forthcoming programmes etc. they may as well advertise soap powders etc. I wish they would, then we won't have to fund them. I'm getting sick of hearing one show presenters being slagged off, I'm not their best fan, but its getting a bit too much for my taste, I'd rather hear something a bit more interesting, Vi.

Dear One Show Production Team,
I really enjoyed the interview in last weeks show with the fully integrated all Pakistani male football team from East London and the timely suggestion by one of those interviewed that Islamic law could possibly be integrated into the legal system within the UK.
In next weeks show could you possibly develop this important multicultural theme further and discuss why the BBC show Eastenders has a predominantly white cast and addresses predominantly white secular liberal issues. Clearly Eastenders does not accurately portray the Eastend as it really is.
I’ve reviewed the population statistics on the Mayor of London’s website and also the Metropolitan Police Authority website, in addition to various articles by the London Evening Standard and official statistics confirm that the white indigenous population in 2008 only makes up between 20 -40 per cent of the population in all East London Boroughs in Greater London.
The show Eastenders is therefore inherently racist because it is perpetuating wholly inaccurate racial stereotypes that the Eastend is predominantly white. This does not accurately represent the contemporary Eastend. In support of your discussion on next weeks show I will be forwarding a complaint to the senior Diversity Officer at the BBC about Eastenders.

.... i think that we should strat talking about the show just for a giggle. All this serious stuff is what what we should do during the day. But after 6.30 stuff should be fun.
I have always had a great interest in stuff. The kind of stuff Fyfe Robertson or Allan Whicker would bring us. The one show is following in the footsteps of some grat 7pm programmes like Tonight and Tomorrows world. It should be better at it because we have the benefit of history to guide us. One thing I am sure of is there is nothing better than a properly trained journalsist for a good story. These so called celebrity reporters are exactly that celebraties. They should leave reporting to reporters.

At least CT’s mum demonstrated integrity and honesty in defending the rights of 1800 odd people. Even with the Belgrano debate. Actions which ultimately brought down a facist junta.
The same can’t be said of the former socialist Prime Minister who purposely misled both parliament and the British electorate, sacrificing British Service men and women in a disastrous war. All so he could earn millions on the US lecture circuit to pay off the mortgage on his £4 million house in Conaught Square in London. Why didn’t Cherie want live in their old terraced house in his old Sedgefield constituency? A Token gesture to traditional Labour voters as long as they were useful thats why. No integrity no consistency, so New Labour, so PC BBC.

On the show 13th February I felt it was more than a little biased with regard to bank charges.If money had been stolen from your house without permission that person would be more than likely be punished.Most likely with prison.

whether it by cheque or cash machine is nothing more than theft and should also be punished.In this case it carried out with bank charges.

With C.T. set to appear on Matthew Wright's show tomorrow morning, is there any hope he too has a blog site and that her supporters will take themselves there from tomorrow to revel in whatever it is she has to say? Hope so but doubt we can count on it. Certain group seem to have become a bunch of self-luvvies now and are busy flirting and drooling over each other as they continue gnawing the meaty bone that seems to have given some of them a reason for living over the last 2 weeks. Oh dear, Juniperjewel (62,67,70), sounds like someone was in need of some nice hot milk and a digestive before heading up the wooden hill to bedforshire,(67), where s/he could be tucked up warm and snug with Mr Golly. What a cross patch! And Host Ryan wants all users of the site to be friendly. A brief scan of some previous blogs reveals that 'juniper' has taken it upon themselves to be an unofficial 'monitor' of the site and is in the habit of admonishing other users with comments such as.."get a life!...stop blocking up the blogs...find another site...get a grip!...get off this site now..." What can we read into this? They themselves have said they got a ticket to Strictly Come Dancing (an insider perk?) to see Christine in the flesh as well as having 'visited' the ONE Show studio. Do they work on or have a close connection with someone on it? Or perhaps they are simply a devoted groupie to Adrian, Christine and all the crew of the ONE Show who just happens be be rather grumpy and rude and thinks the blog needs protection.
S/he might wish to recall their own words when criticising others. Whether or not they think so, there are important principles at stake. To Host Ryan s/he writes,(27/1) "Thanks for being so interactive with us bloggers. It's good to know we are being read and notice taken." Precisely. So glad we agree on the purpose of putting our views forward, juniper. Pity no feedback has been offered as to whether or not any notice has been taken re: CT. No doubt the team on the show would prefer to read the sort of sychophantic observations you are in the habit of making (when not bullying and attacking other users and indulging in your intolerance) but for 'some' of us it was not good enough to get a one-sided version of events which was not open to scrutiny. Until last Thursday there had been no reply from Host Ryan except by way of the 'official statement' when he said he is unable to enter into a debate. Yes, life goes on and there are many important issues to discuss. I can move on from the ONE Show and the blog, can you? You seem very easily lured back from all that is "reassuring and entertaining" (67) in yours. A tip, if you don't like the blogs, don't read 'em. Why are you so upset? I am thinking about raising the issue of the green room with revenue and customs - we are now lead to believe by Jay Hunt (rhymes with) that this is part of the workplace, therefore the drinks and food provided free of charge to BBC employees Chiles, Bleakley, Brand etc are in fact a taxable benefit on which tax should be paid via form P11d. Could someone in BBC finance comment on this.
In addition to this I am in the process of doing my Freedom of Information request to see who the Thatcher grass is.
Finally, I wonder what the vewing figures are for thie 'Ein Show' now following the highly unpopular decision to sack Thatcher - No doubt we will never hear of this from the Biased Broadcating Corporation.

This morning, on the Wright show, Carol looked very happy, and relaxed after her holiday in the sun, and didn't appear to be worried in the least about the whole affair, as they say in show biz, there's no such thing as bad publicity, she has taken no harm, and I expect she will do well from now on in T.V. but possibly not for the B.B.C. which I don't expect will worry her one bit.
