What did you think of the show? (30/10/2008)
Setting Adrian's pulse racing, much to Christine's amusement, was Holby City's Amanda Mealing (pictured, above).
Anita Rani examined why people are being tempted by loan sharks and the dangers involved. Click here for more info.
The One Show's very own international man of mystery, Hardeep Singh Kohli looked at Bond film 'baddies'. Does Britain need a new action movie hero? Click here to have your say.
With Halloween approaching, Lucy Worsley told us of the Pendle Witches who were executed in 1612.
And Gyles Brandreth headed to Brompton Cemetery to tell us about the stories buried within.
Groucho Marx joked that he'd like his epitaph to read, "Excuse me, I can't stand up".
How will you be remembered? We're asking, what's your epitaph?

Christine, Amanda and Anita all on the sofa together. Poor Adrian. Three absolute kittens. How do I get a job on the show?!! When Adrian goes on holiday can we have Anita standing in?

I have just watched this evenings show and am slightly outraged at a ridiculous comment that Hardip made towards the end of the programme very rudely cutting off Amanda and making her apologise for using the term White Witch saying instead its a Witch of Colour!!!
How absolutely ridiculous.. white doesnt refer to the colour of the practicioner but the kind of magic they practise. As a practising Wiccan we are often asked if we are white witches or black which most of us find laughable (bit like asking a christain if they are a good or bad christain) we dont practise anything other than good magic.
It's hard enough in this day and age with PCness going mad.. Hardip get a life.. its not all about race!
Love and light..

Did Hardip really say that libraries are boring at the beginning of his piece on Bond films? If so, shame on him! Perhaps he could go out and visit a few libraries as a penance?
Love the show!

Re: the Pendle Witches
If you look carefully there is a crucifix in the sky over the moors. See where a jet trail crosses a narrow horizontal cloud. On i-play pause at 26.12/28.33. Spooky or what? Or I've got a vivid imagination.

My 11 year old duaghter and I watched the show last night as we quite often do. However I was lost for words when she wanted me to explain why Hardeep had interupted Amanda over the comment about 'white witches'. She now wants to know what a 'witch of colour' is - ive no idea and ive never heard anything so pathetic.
What a shame some people feel they have to go to these lengths to make a mockery out of a serious issue.

The One Show is brilliant. Interesting guests, normal humour, and Adrian and Christine are fantastic hosts.
I would like to suggest that the programme replaces Jonathon Ross on Friday nights, extended to a full hour.
Tonight the programme ended beautifully with Frank Skinner playing the banjo, there was a lovely atmosphere.
What a refreshing change from other programmes that contain pointless swearing and inuendo. Everyone I know is fed up with Ramsay, Oliver, Ross, Brand and others on various shows.
I expect you think that I am old, and therefore can't appreciate modern humour, but this is not the case.Jack Dee is hilarious,

During the1930's H M S BARHAM was anchored off Bournemouth,my father took pictures of the ship. Jump to 1941 my parents are out and whilst listening to the 9pm news i hear HMS BARHAM has been sunk, bearing in mind the pictures i have seen I tell my father this and listening to later news there is no mention of the sinking. So I he could not belive me. It was finaly anounced two months later. Mick Bournemouth.
