What did you think of the show? (25/09/09)

The fantastic Liam Neeson graced the sofa in The One show studio. The hollywood actor charmed all The One Show ladies with his laidback manner and twinkle in his irish eyes!
Our man on a mission to help the nation sleep better, Michael Mosley, returned to investigate sleep apnoea. He met Delia a lady who while sleeping stops breathing roughly once per minute! For more information click here.
Rav Wilding reported on the serious issue of Caravan Crime. More here.
Aubrey Manning took us to Bath and discovered why most of the city's buildings are built out of a honey coloured limestone called Bath stone.
Christine and Adrian were impressed with the amount of truthful town slogans you'd posted for us on the website and the best were read out on the show. Keep up the good work!

I went to the workshop last week and I left not only knowing how to sexily and gracefully walk in high heels,
I also learnt how to walk into any bar and command the room. Needles to say I met a wonderful guy and we had an amazing date last night.
I would throughly reccomend this workshop to all of the sex in the city ladies in London!

the sleeping issue,i thought was poorly covered ,as there seems to be an issue with the doctors that put people on these c-paps machines ,informing the dvla and peope having there licences with drawn
i have recently been put on oneof these machines . i have been driving for 20 years
never had an accident and now im being told that i may have my license withdrawn until the results of c-paps state its working
the programme should have looked into this

It has been a very interesting subject (sleep disorders) however although mentioning melatonin in yesterdays programme, the Doc should have mentioned that melatonin is available on prescription from your GP and is a much safer alternative to sleeping tablets etc...

Don't waste the beetroot tops - cook them like spinach or chard and serve them with the beetroot and some garlic mashed potato (Greek skordalia).

Hi guy's I'd just like to say that I regually use a money shop to cash cheques in that offers the cash till payday service, although expensive the staff do stress the fact to people that the consequences of the loan going over are quite drastic. I must say that the particullar one I use are very good and provide a good service and are not out to rip people off although I'm sure that there are many unscrupulous providers of money lending that do on a regular basis. Alot of people have circumstances where they cannot get even a basic bank account, myself included. the money shop in particular offers pre paid credit cards and other services that help people to function in todays plastic money society. I can only say that I have had a very good experience with them and consider them to be totally proffessional and out for the customers interest.

Adrian in heels was quite funny :-) I know how heels can affect your posture as I had lots of torn ligaments and twisted ankles, and even a broken ankle due to heels when I was younger. I still wear them, but also wear 'sensible' shoes too. I have recently discovered MBT shoes. They are shoes that help your posture and increase the muscle useage when walking. They are great, and would be interesting to see the one show learn to walk in these and see how much they affect them. After a day, my legs were aching in places i didnt know i had muscles.
Great show. keep it up.
