Ooo Torvill and Dean! They used to come under similar scrutiny and Adrian and Christine! I have to say it's nice being allowd to comment again... for the last few weeks the site has not had a box for me to write in, even though I was logged in! And speaking clocks, I have never used one but it sounds very interesting! Speaking of tax and pot holes, it would be nice if my tax money was spent on filling in the holes instead of paying for pointless road signs and speed traps.

Tomorrow TOSblog meets its demise at the hands of the producer.
I expect the criticism of TOS became too much for some to bear. Even though the criticism was in the main constructive.
It is also a shame because TOSblog was a source of pleasure to many. We made friends, enemies, friendly enemies and finally friends of enemies but never enemies of friends. I shall miss it.
I hope that some of the erstwhile TOSbloggers will find their way to our site at the link below. Here you can talk freely. You will certainly be welcome. We could even collaborate on sending helpful e-mails and interesting pictures to TOS as the mood and our wit takes us.

I hardly think any comments on here affect the future of the website design/content. More like a decision by someone who has never looked at it for any longer than a passing glance. I enjoyed writing my comments while it lasted though.

What I was alluding to are the assumptions made about Torvill and Deans relationship, being very similar to the assumptions made about Adrian and Christine in the media. It doesn’t take a genius to work that out, keep up people.

I'm pleased to say that I don't keep up with the red tops but surely no one is seriously suggesting that A&C have anything other than a professional relationship, are they? Seems inconceivable as they are like chalk and cheese.

OK, I was perhaps reading more than I should into Anthony's comments. I'm sure that given the rigours of working on TOS, they have both had to support each other.
It's hard enough being a viewer sometimes never mind being a presenter!

I have not watched the show since the dronning on of Christine doing her Sports Relief task, drove me potty. Also hearing that Adrian may leave and the pillock Chris Evans will be on is enough to turn my tv off. Before you shout about Sports Relief I gave money to Eddie Izzard as what he did was truely unbelievable and he was very quiet about it.

Do not usethis site very often but what better things in the day do the pre-programme complainers have to do? If you dont like it dont watch it!
I will add how the one show is increasingly trying to be like TFI Friday showing the so called audience with sometimes forced background laughter (canned coming soon perhaps) I think I did see one hidden card with 'laugh' on it as they turned the camera on the so called audience. Bring back nationwide or dare I say neighbours!! :(

That was one of four speaking clocks - two were in London, one main,one standby; the other two were in Liverpool CENtral exchange, once again main and standby. London served Southern Britain and Liverpool served the North. They were synchronised-if error was detected the correct one forced the other out of service. The reported five second delay was probably being viewed on digital tv and not analogue.

So no longer can we praise TOS nor complain that CB is going over the top with self publicity. No more girlies asking where she bought her knickers. No complaints about AC's beard or shabby dress sense. No slagging Kaye Adams for her left wing bias. No praising the joyous Ellie or Miranda.
From now on TOS can go forth believing all is well in it's own blind little world.
Let's hope 'Not The One Show' comes alive after Thursdays show.

Just wanted to call by and say Adios Amigos. The ice-rink scene with the sparkly, slippery geezer in the clingy backless number reminded me of a certain something. Ah yes, the time when I used to sell shrink-wrapped chipolatas from a market stall in Aldershot. Cold it were - out in all weathers.

The One Show Blog ...R.I.P. Bye Flunk / Hokey, Jade, John H, Dane dweller, Duchblog, sxg123 and all the family of TOS Bloggers... As I pointed out earlier in the week It seems strange that the local weather man is keeping his Blog but TOS is loosing theirs. Cost saving... I don't believe so .. but there you go, no one has ever listened to us on this Blog so why expect change at this late stage.
As we fade slowly into the sunset at least I can say "I was there"!!!

Hello EVERYONE, I only commented because of a "Vain" Interview that really got my Goat, a bit like the one Adrian grew lol. The Show mostly got on my nerves (being Polite here!) but my Husband watched it, until CB of Sport Relief gave him No relief, so he stopped watching!! I had then started a) to watch what all you Bloggers were talking about & to see if the Show improved to your standard of witt. So BBC or BEEB I think you have made a stupid Boob Move because now all the Lovely, Intelligent, Witty, Very truthful, Bloggers who I know you cannot possibly believe this, made the One Show for me.
