BOB ft. Bruno Mars - 'Nothin' On You'
Goodness - 'Rights And Wrongs'
Jonsi - 'Tornado' and 'Grow Till Tall'
Chiddy Bang ft. MGMT - 'Opposite Of Adults'
LL Cool J - 'Mama Said Knock You Out'
Leona Lewis - 'Bleeding Love'
Scott Matthews - 'The Boy With The Thorn In His Side'
Aqualung - 'Strange And Beautiful (I'll Put A Spell On You)'
Massive Attack - 'Heat Miser'

What? Don't talk to us right now. We're all in pieces because of...certain events. And frankly, music is all we've got keeping us going right now.

You know what it's like when you're down in the dumps. Sometimes a really sad song is what you need, sometimes it's something a bit more lively and upbeat, so you can pull yourself together. Of the selection on display here, it's tough to pick an out-and-out favourite, because it's so dependent on mood. SO, how about for one week only we pick two faves? One for the sad times and one for the happy? OK then.

So, really, I'd have to say BOB and Bruno have aced the happiness with 'Nothin' On You'. It's not as brutal as Mr Cool J's shoutython, or as all-over-the-place as Chiddy Bang. Plus that tune is summer in a can.

Meanwhile, over in Sadville...although 'Bleeding Love' is hard to argue with, and the Jonsi songs are just beautiful...Scott Matthews has to win. Because good cover versions of songs by the Smiths are hard to come by - Session 1, you are exempt from this point - and he's done a marvellous job.

Oh, and in case you thought I'd forgotten, here's the Spotify version, so that a small part of your life will be forever Olive.

PS: Now tell me your favourite/s..

Jonsi Was the best with grow till tall when olive fell, it was just so sad but yet a so meaningful song and so powerful that you could actually connect to it.. and i couldn't stop crying :'[
alsoo.. aqualung because it fitted into the cut perfectly where it was played before in series 2 which made it more bittersweet but sad still. The only that lighted up up the mood had to be BOB ft. bruno mars - nothin on you.

oh and also i think the music plays a strong part in the cut cause jonsi grow till tall will be the only song i'll remember olive by and the final episode well at least there's something to remeber olive by its so sad to see her leave the cut like that but i do wish billie luck for the future and that she's a great actress and she will be missed loads by the cut fans.
It would be nice if the new characters are somehow part of olive's & toni's family like a remberance of olive but defo not a replacement! :'[ xx

This show has got the best music taste ever, kudos to you. Amazing choice with Jonsi's 'Grow Till Tall' for the final scene, it genuinely got me choked up.

Aqualung was my favourite of those songs I think... it fitted the scene so perfectly! It's just the right kind of music for The Cut, but I agree with everyone else as well! Jonsi made that final scene very hard hitting and emotional...

Going for Jonsi's "Grow..." for Olive

    (psst..2nd place Aqualung's classic!)
