I'm staggered. Borsetshire is full of irresponsible dog-breeders. Who knew? And Georgie (from poor, cash-strapped parents) hasn't just been given a puppy for Christmas, he's been allowed to have a FEMALE puppy. What's the betting that in a few months' time Emma will say,'Oh, but it'd be so lovely to let Holly have bay-bees!' and Ed will reply, 'Yes, s'not natural to stop her following her instincts'.
The only way this current storyline could possibly get any worse/more unbelievable is if Will presents George with another puppy on Christmas Day.

An absolute disgrace. Kill a puppy and buy another one for Christmas to replace it, just like a broken toy. Whoever thought up this sick, irresponsible storyline?

    "Ed Grundy
A nephew is for life, not just for Christmas"

Despicable. I had thought that the Darrell storyline was about as low as this unfortunate programme was likely to sink, but it has managed to get lower.

Taking the motto of an organisation directly opposed to the disgusting bit of mawkishness which has just been perpetrated, and using it as if it were not something that you had just collectively driven a coach and four through, is something that you should be personally ashamed of, as well as the collective shame the entire sorry crew ought to be feeling about this storyline.

I agree with Chris, a despicable storyline. Completely unforgivable

I am appalled by this storyline. Just what point are the writers trying to make? We know the Grundies are morally bankrupt & much else but i didn't think they would (be allowed) to sink this low. I hope all the responsible & caring people out there complain in the strongest terms possible. The BBC complaints/helpline number is 03700 100 222 ( local rates said to be charged) where a message can be left. Also use feedback webpage where an email can be sent. I really don't think i can listen to any more of this drivel and i despair how this story can be redeemed without yet another dog 'tragedy'. All the good & hard work of the animal charities cancelled out in one very foul swoop. As has been said so many times already, who would put there name to such an abomination & on Christmas Eve. Words are so inadequate to describe this vile rubbish.
Have the idiots who write this forgotten 2 weeks ago Ed couldn't even pay for his cows' feed. Did Emma 'pay' for this guilt appeaser with her body? Nothing would surprise me now.
