As Will and Nic jet off to their honeymoon in Cape Verde, we thought you might like to see a couple of photos of them in their 'going away' outfits.

Our thanks to Becky Wright and Phil Molloy for posing in very cold conditions. Well, if they will choose to get married on New Year's Day...

Ah! THAT is what happened to Jerry Cornelius, the English Assassin. He has gone to ground with a sales rep from Home Bargains.

I think the big case is almost full of Nic's things, with just a corner left for Will's :o)

No, it really is Phillip Molloy, who plays Will. Honest!

I simply don't believe that is Will - did you get someone to fill in for him?

What on earth is the point of this? Two RADIO actors posing with empty suitcases by a building site in Birmingham, plus an indoor pic that looks as if it was snapped on someone's phone under fluourescent striplights? No-one's criticising them for their looks, they're criticising whoever thought it was a good idea to waste their time with this insulting rubbish. The comments here speak volumes about how listeners feel about being taken for fools.

Splath that is exactly what I was thinking - surely the Beeb has a costume department and makeup artists that would not cost the earth if anything at all? I like the first photo most - a blue wall with some random people standing very much to one side. Odd.

Well, the old 'BBC has no money' excuse is trotted out to explain these awful photos. Yes, it's radio and no, it's not real, but we all visit this site because we're interested in the characters and look for a bit of added value, which photos provide. If the BBC hadn't a few quid to hire a wedding dress (or got one free from their costume department) then surely the couple could have worn appropriate outfits? They didn't need to be pictured outside to prove they were 'going away'.
It is unfair to comment on their appearance - but I did, so execute me do. The point is that it's insulting to us to show such trashy photos here. The BBC makes enough money from Archers spin offs to finance a decent pic.
