Well done Jennifer for the brief history lesson on Vegas. I liked the Temptations, so it was fun for me.

Vegas is Vegas, a fantasyland, an anomoly of history and geography.
It is not representative of America at large.
We've had gay marriage, Venice Beach, the country's largest thermometer, and 'Vegas, Baby!'
Get out of town, and back onto the road, before we all lose interest.

Here's the plan...
Stay in Vegas. Gamble. Win lots of money and then share the winnings with me!
Time to hit the road. Where are you headed next?

Dear Mr Old South:
One in Thirteen Americans live in Southern California.
-- Got that?
I assume that by OLD SOUTH you mean SOUTH EAST?
-- Or, are you just remarking on your age?
Well, guess what - western expansion worked. Deal with it. Not everyone in the USA looks like the GOP-NRA-WASP-ish South East. Sorry.
..... Now let us consider whether the Electoral College numbers are fairly distributed, or whether they weigh votes more heavily in conservative states. Democracy? Here? In the USA? Are you SURE?
Hmmmmm... Scary, isn't it?
