Breaking news! Zoe Ball revealed on Radio 2 this morning that the BBC's own Vanessa Feltz is the first confirmed contestant to join the Strictly class of 2013!

Live on the breakfast show, Vanessa told Zoe, "I am inordinately excited... I'm sequinned from head to toe!" Looking fantastic in her pink sequinned dress, she tested out her moves in the studio with previous Strictly contestant and It Takes Two presenter Zoe who also gave her some secret tips.

When asked who she'd liked to be partnered with, Vanessa answered, "I'd like someone patient, someone virile, oozing testoerone but patient... I don't want anyone who shouts at me and gets cross!" We're sure we'll find you the perfect dance partner Vanessa.

Here's an exclusive snap of a very glamourous Vanessa on set filming for Strictly.

We'll be revealing a new contestant every day between now and Monday when the entire Strictly class of 2013 are announced on The One Show from 7pm.

Viewers will get to see all the celebrity contestants of 2013 interviewed for the first time as they begin their journey into a life of sequins and sambas this autumn.
