It’s nearly time to grab those glitterballs, plump those cushions and make those favourite snacks and drinks easily accessible, because Strictly’s on its way!

Today has already been dramatic, with the breaking news that poor Natalie will not perform in tonight's show due to fainting in our Dress Rehearsal.

But the nine remaining couples are chomping at the bit to get on the dance floor and do their thing! And with the tantalising treat of a trip to the Ballroom mecca of Blackpool for those that avoid elimination, we’re sure that the standard of dancing will be extra special tonight. Watch along with us and leave your comments below, or follow our live blog for all the latest backstage gossip.

Just watched Natalie on 'it takes two'. Still she is so smug, poor Artam has hurt his neck, when Zoe asked what he had done Natalie could only laugh and change the subject back to HER. Beware Artem or she will be fainting again!!!
Have to agree with Dave, perhaps all the celebrities should realise all they need to do is throw a sickie to get through to the next round.

OK so Dave's gone but wonder if he realised all he needed to do to get to Blackpool was to have thrown a sickie

Yes - I, too, thought that the comments Len directed towards Mark were ungracious and unnecessary. On this occasion he could have simply kept any such thoughts to himself; if he really did think that Dave Myers merited staying (!) then he could have said so quietly and in a neutral tone of voice. I think he has lost objectivity and become far too big for his boots.
Overall, I think the judges have become rather corrupted as a result of their emerging celebrity.

Just watched the results show properly and could not believe the vitriolic comments from len directed at Mark, it was totally un-called for and definitely personal, is this what happens when uncle len does`nt get his own way. He should be made to apologise on air for such appalling comments to a person only trying to do his best in a world totally different to that which he is normally used too.

Yes, Natalie did attend DANCE CLASSES as a teenager at the Italia Conti Academy. Surely in everyone's eyes this gives her an unfair advantage over the other contestants and you don't mean to tell me that someone that has suffered "disc problems" can come back within a couple of days and dance that quick step as she did - cane and all!!!!! Then all of a sudden there was fainting twice!!!!!. What a way to get to Blackpool. Why don't all the other contestants who feel they may be in danger decide to faint in the Saturday rehearses -and get a pass into the next round perhaps someone should try it in the semi-finals. Come on BBC get your act together.

Claudia and Tess do a fine job. If they recruit a bloke following Bruce Forsyth's retirement then we're back in the 1970s when women were there to look good rather than deliver the show. Come on peeps - it is the 21st century you know. We had a woman conducting the last night of the proms - we can have a woman leading the biggest show on the telly. Don't let us down Beeb.

mrsdinks and Alison we are now in a society where respect and good manners are sadly in short supply. Absolutely agree the clapping and cheering is most annoying and unneccessary but has become part of the modern behavour. You have to blame the producers and floor managers who I have to believe encourage the audience. It's a sign of the times, I dread to think what the future will be like.

Agree with comments on here about shaking up the judging panel a bit. I would like to see Karen Hardy replace Len to balance up the sexes.
I really hope the Natalie 'incident' wasn't a PR stunt, she's nailed on for the final (rightly or wrongly) so doesn't need sympathy votes. Agree that Darcy's 10 for Pat was a joke, I think the judges just wanted to make sure he wasn't in the dance-off again.
Sophie back on track this week, but I wish she showed more passion & attitude. Still that's what happens when you marry a member of The Feeling!
Susanna will be the peoples choice I think, good bet for the final, & Abbey seems to be in the running to. Can't help but chuckle that she spells her name the same way as an ornate, decorative structure that is largely empty inside. Tee hee!

Natalie will be on ITT on Thursday to talk about her training this week, not to start training.

She attended dance classes as a teenager and trained to be a professional actress, not a dancer.

I do hope she and Artem go slightly easier on this week's training. Did anyone note Vincent's remark that she was possibly the best celebrity who has ever been on Strictly?
