Hold the front page! Team Ri-Ro (Riley and Robin) are officially the couple to beat. Lisa even managed to tame Craig, "YOU. CAN. DANCE", was his refrain.

Our first Strictly weekend has even seen a few seachanges, a new judge, a female-to-male lift and even Bruno seems to have been hanging around Craig to long, Daaarrrrrllliinng! So here's those all-important scores on the floors in full.

Please please stop the pseudo "clapping" noise (sounds like a slapstick) which appears to be added onto the sound whenever a Latin dance is on. The band is wonderful, why spoil it?

Why is Nikki getting a hard time?? Come on judges there are worse dancers...the boy can move!! Why make reference to his boyband days ( he can't just change the way he was "successfully manufactured" and conditioned in 4 weeks!!!) give him the chance. The zumba comment was frankly verging on racist Craig... a a cheap pot at Karen, if you don't like her routine then say so, surely they should be judged on their moves not their nationality or characteristics......enough cheap laughs up your game, after all the dancers have been working hard to up theirs!!!! Loving the show.. :-)

    Re: Lisa & Robin's 'lift'

I was wondering about that too, but I remember Karen Hardy saying a few years ago that it doesn't matter if you are lifted up, or you use your partner to lift yourself up, or you jump into their arms, it is still a lift.

I wouldn't normally bother but Nicky & Karen got such a hammering I thought it was worth asking.

I know I am in the minority here, but I found watching Louis quite uncomfortable as the hip movements were so exaggerated it just looked a bit weird! I agree that he also might have a big ego but it's only the start so let's see how he goes. I really liked Kimberley and Pasha and thought Denise did well. I liked Lisa and Robin - she just threw herself into it whcih was good to see. Overall, I thought Saturday's dancers were stronger than Friday's but be interesting to see them all at the weekend as it is easier to compare them. I think Anton quite likes getting someone he can turn into a bit of a comedy routine!!

DQ @49 I'd rather have Denise and Kim than another couple of beginners.
A mix of good, bad and indifferent makes good TV.

I've given up hope of Anton ever getting a partner who'd give him a chance of progressing a bit. I had hope this time, but..... It wuld be great if Ms Hall could liberate her inner dancer...
Sad. He's too polite for his own good.

I disagree with StrictlySteven, Lisa danced great for her first dance on live telly. Not wanting to sound awfull but its harder to see someone's hips move I agree, if they are big around that region, but she did stay in time, smile and do the correct steps. What was most suprising was both her rythm and her energy! I think its unfair that Denise and Kimberly are in the competition as they have danced and been choreographed before.

Difficult voting delema as people won't want to vote Johnny Bull off first - what with age issue and change of partner etc., Sure Victoria is going to really improve with her foxtrot so sure she will be safe from bottom two - so will be interesting to see who goes sadly it could very well be one fo the the very good celebs. Disagree with strictly steven, Lisa didn't stop moving for the entire dance - We must wait to see how her ballroom will pan out and am convinced once again she will prove she can dance incredibly well. My favourites are Kimberley and Pasha, Louis and Flavia, Sid and Ola and Denise and James.

Don't like to keep going on about poor Bruce, but have to agree that things have started badly for him in first two programmes - he's now causing timing issues where we are not always able to hear from all the judges because we are always running out of time! An example was after Colin and Kristina had danced and there was some very unfunny business bringing on martini glasses and a mug for Bruce! we must have lost 2 Judges comments to fit this in! what would you have preferred to have seen? If things get much worse the producers may have to consider recording all of the Saturday shows and then editing out his 'fluffs' so they can leave in more of the important stuff. We still get the occasional funny glimpses of the old Brucie but unfortunately there are just not enough of them.
