Complaints about whizzing cameras and missed footwork are common. I think the point the Beeb should take is that just because the technology exists to do it doesn't mean it has to be used, no? I'm sure there are plenty of occasions where it would improve the production, but SCD isn't one of them.

Yorkshiseman@20, since the BBC have not seen fit to remove your ignorant post, can I say as one who will be campaigning for a NO vote in our independence referendum because I feel British thru and thru, that it is plonkers like you who will drive some Scots into the home rule camp!Shame on you for your bigotry!

The dancers & stars were all excited and looking forward to Wembly. I can honestly say that it was the worst show so far. Don't feel as though I can comment on the dancing as couldn't see much due to the constant movement of camera work. It made it look like an ant show in parts! Really upset & dissapointed, much like everyone I have spoken to so far. This is the first time I have ever commented on any show but it has left a sour taste.. Wrong venue. Wrong camera work.

I think all the BBC meant by 'not affecting the outcome' was that Michael had got through. I think they just assumed that it would only be his vote that might be affected and hadn't taken into account the fact that some people might not vote unless they had seen all the dances. I really don't think they meant any slur on Scottish voters. Of course the overall votes will be different, it was just the *outcome* that they felt was no different.

I wish I could say that they had looked at voting patterns overall and worked out, carefully, how the Scottish usually vote and what difference it might make if the Scottish vote was not included at all. However, this is an organisation that cannot work out how to allot points fairly when couples tie, so it's highly unlikely they've got a statistician monitoring the vote.

But she IS a trained dancer and while most actors have dance training they do not all star in Chicago for a year dancing and singing. If she had not done this I doubt anybody would make a comment about her but with all that stage experience behind her in a musical she has an unfair advantage. I have said so all along and I stick by it. It is also very clear that the judges want her to win and as they are in charge of the dance off, we are stuck as we all know that should they end up in the bottom two, they will always be saved. Where is the fairness in that? Though I believe that the dance off ends by the time we get to the semis - I think, perhaps somebody could correct me if I am wrong.

Please BBC I repeat my plea of last year do NOT go to Wembley again but return to Blackpool. Last year there was almost unanimous response from all on this blog who said how dire the show was but goes without saying our comments were totally ignored and on It Takes Two the following week it was a rave about it every night and no derogatory emails broadcast at all. The camera work was appalling, the long shots meant we could not see the dancers and the shrieking, screaming audience, particularly on the so called SUNDAY results show, made it impossible to enjoy what was going on. So I ask again, back to Blackpool please, floor manager to calm down the audience and not feed them on liquid mercury and whip them into a sense of hysteria and better camera work so we can see the FEET of the dancers.

However, I expect my request and the request of anybody else to be totally ignored as that is how the BBC operates.

Couldn't agree more with the comments about the camera work. Add that to the dreadful audio and it made the night well-nigh intolerable. Looking forward to back to the studio next week.

Scots didn't see the whole show, therefore the voting outcome must be skewed. - I'm sorry that the Scots didn't see the whole show, But least the scots can pick up the phone to vote for their favourite, I am from Ireland , if I was able to vote I would have voted for Michael and NAtalie but I can't because I don't live in the U.K.. I can see why the Scots are annoyed because if they saw Michael and NAtalie's performance you wolud pick up the phone to vote for them.

@ comment 20 . Your comment was rude to the Scottish people and to Andy Murray.

I'm getting a bit fed up with all the "Denise is a trained dancer" stuff. I know the Drama school she trained at - she's no more a trained dancer than Danni, Syd Owen, Colin Salmon, or Lisa Reilly ( who also has years of stage experience in Panto). The same darn argument crops up every year.
