It’s Saturday night and the Strictly semi-final is upon us. Our five remaining couples are in sight of next week’s Grand Finale and the pressure and intensity is almost becoming unbearable. Last week saw the elimination of Ashley and Ola following a rather feisty Dance Off, so expect more fireworks, passion and commitment as we reach the ‘business’ end of the competition. And with two dances each to perform this week, the chances of mistakes and mishaps are high. So get the refined refreshments ready, settle back on the sparkly sofa and get ready for some thrills and spills as the nerve-shredding semi-final gets underway.

Great show very close finish but once again the results were not as they should have been
No way should Sophie have gone out before Suzanna..
I did not agree with the result but i can live with it .
A new judging system must be brought in next year.

Now don't tell me this isn't a fix - the worst dancer is STILL IN IT!!! Are all BBC staff on multi voting lines to keep her in

We have watch the show from start to finish and we are denied a vote for the finals!!!! Really, and I mean really, disappointed . A fantastic production worthy of the accolades and it is ruined, for me at least, through a lack of technological forethought . BBC don't apologise it's too late!!

Once again Sophie has not got the marks she deserves especially from Craig. Natalie although a good dancer has not improved as much as the others because she is a trained dancer. For my money the most improved are Sophie & Abbie and I hope they are in the final & Sophie wins. Len as usual let himself down by blatantly favouring Natalie. Time to change Len & Craig.

I have to say that I have not taken to Natalie as a person, but that show dance was fabulous. What I take issue with though is Len telling people he vwants her in the final. It is NOT up to him. I really think the public should vote for the celebrity they think has made the most improvement- not started good and stayed good. Oh, and vote for the ones you like the most too.

Fab show so far. Natalie is a fantastic technician, but , I never seem to get any emotion feeling from her. I love abbey and sophie, can't put a point between them. Susanna is really good , but I think her enthusiasum covers a fair few not-quite-there steps.

I think I want sophie to win, but feel it will be abbey.

    Great series

New Abbey would get 10s there was gaping again and all the judges turned a blind eye yet they pull suzanne up on it . Abbey makes mistakes every week but the judges never say anything.

2392. Darth Said: "they are re doing their American smooth with no changes and this dance was heavily citisized by Len, so good on you team Nartem"

I have to disagree with you over this. I was saddened that Artem announced that having broken the rules for the dance once, he was going to do so again. It shows a lack of respect for the competition, the judges and the other dancers.

The rules say that 40% of the American Smooth should be in hold. If he choreographs the dance with less than that in hold, it is presumably because he thinks it will look better that way and he is choosing to give Natalie an unfair advantage. He will also being doing it in the full knowledge that only the public vote counts so there is nothing the judges can do to penalise him. I hope that he will think better of it before Saturday or that Natalie will put him straight. Otherwise it will be down to the public, with their inherent sense of fairness, to withhold their vote.
