Katie's Strictly journey comes to an end
We've already said goodbye to two amazing celebrities, but now Katie Piper's taking her final bow as she's next to leave the competition.
She danced the Jive with partner Gorka Marquez on Saturday night, but it didn't quite wow the Judges, landing them bottom of the leaderboard with 18 points - four less than their Movie Week score.
While their cute school-themed routine was as sweet as can be, Katie found herself in the Dance-Off on Sunday night's show, facing Charles Venn and Pro Partner Karen Clifton.
Their opponents had now landed in the Dance-Off for the second week running, but the Judges voted to save Charles and Karen once again. When explaining his decision, Bruno Tonioli said: “The couple that stood out for me, so I would save them, is Charles and Karen.”
The first three votes placed Charles in safe territory, with Head Judge Shirley Ballas adding she would have also saved him over Katie.
Accepting the decision, Katie said to Tess: “I have taken a lot from this experience and it has all been really positive, and I’ll never forget this journey. Charles was the better dancer out of us two and there are some brilliant dancers in this competition, and sadly I don’t think I was one of them!"
Pro dancer Gorka added his support for Katie, saying: "Well first of all thank you, for being such a wonderful human, because you know everyone knows how much you have been through and everything. But to get the chance to know you and be working with you and get to know how strong you are, how always wanting to be better and improve - for me that’s my lesson and what I learnt from you.”
We'll definitely miss team Korka, but you can catch them for one last time on the It Takes Two sofa tomorrow at 6.30pm on BBC Two.
