From radio to Rumba, Vick Hope is our next Strictly star!

The gorgeous Geordie has officially joined the Strictly family, and we can’t wait to see her bring a slice of Northern soul to the Ballroom!

Multi-talented Vick Hope is more used to playing music than dancing to it, so it's no surprise she's already feeling the pressure. "I’m so nervous about doing something outside of my comfort zone in front of so many people on live TV, which I could easily screw up," she said. "I’ve started genuinely having nightmares about going out in the first week!"

The radio DJ already has many strings to her bow, with a Cambridge degree under her belt, presenting gigs for 4Music, MTV, ITN, Channel 4 and The Disney Channel on her dazzling CV, plus a co-hosting role on Capital FM’s breakfast show alongside Roman Kemp.

Earlier this year, Vick also joined The Voice UK and The Voice Kids as its new digital reporter, as well as fronting Sky One’s Carnage with Freddie Flintoff and Lethal Bizzle.

Plus she’s presented many award-winning documentaries, exploring fashion photo retouching in That’s Not Me and following the rise of online horror in Channel 5’s The Slenderman Killings. All of this, and she’s still just 28 years old! But will she be adding Strictly success to her long list of achievements anytime soon?

Vick will be stepping into the Ballroom alongside Katie Piper, Faye Tozer, Danny John-Jules and Joe Sugg, plus many more names yet to be announced. Keep up with the latest celebs to join the line-up on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
