It's the tricky midway point in the series where certain couples excel and certain couples get left behind. Last night almost ALL our couples shifted up a gear with seven out of ten scoring their personal best reaching their highest marks of the series. Stay tuned for tonight's results and a dramatic dance off. Who should be on the bus to Wembley, and who should go? Let us know!

    Disappointed with the camera work tonight. I felt I missed a lot of the dancing as the camera pulled back and I was trying to watch two tiny matchsticks lost amongst the lights and background colours.

    Well, got the standard answer to my complaint about the noise. Which singularly fails to solve the problem of the sound for viewers being ruined by the audience actively being encouraged to make more of a noisy reaction to the dancers.

    No excuses SCD sound department. Sort this out BEFORE the show is broadcast.

    144.gorscot Strictly was neither intended to be a dance contest per se, nor has it ever been such.

    If it's NOT a dance competition....Then why is there Dancing? It's NOT supposed to be a personality competition.

    @acebiker21.
    Sorry, I have to disagree.
    While admitting that, I too, fell into the trap of expecting Lisa to be another Anne Widdecombe and Craig certainly did the same, if his comments in the opening show are anything to go by.

    However, I had, like many others, to totally reverse that notion within 10 seconds of her starting to move.

    Her appearance, is an irrelevance..and I won't make that mistake again..
    I should've known from seeing Ricki Lake in the original "Hairspray," plus the young woman who plays the Tracey Turnblad role in the musical remake, and even John Travolta playing the role of Edna in a "fatsuit," in the same film who are proof enough in my mind that size isn't automatically a marker for how well a person can move.

    As for comparisons with Victoria Pendleton, for me, there's no contest..I'd rather watch Lisa anyday, on any level, considering what they've produced thus far.

    Rich.

    acebiker21, can I please have some of what you are on! Lisa has been a) by far the better dancer and b) far more entertaining! Victoria has been very poor, partly because as she said herself she has no sense of rhythm. If I had a pound for everyone I have heard say she should be voted off to put her out of her misery I would be a very rich man! Sadly your post reeks of sizeism!

    Mike burns, thanks for the reply. Given what is commonly referred to as the Tom Chambers fiasco the beeb would not be allowed to weight the votes in favour of the judges. If they charge people to vote, their vote must count at least as much ; hence no say for the judges in the final! Enjoy!

    Tess is ok as a co-presenter but not a main presenter; she's solid but uninspiring. I am not a fan of Claudia Winkleman who I find intensely annoying - please don't use her again.
