It's a really difficult situation as probably Dave fully expected to be out of competition long before now, but if he's not voted out what can he do - he must be feeling pretty bad but other than stand down as John Sergeant did really what are his options? It seems to be worse this year because it's a close run thing and there are quite a few couples who have genuinely not had dance experience who are doing very well. Hopefully sense will prevail this week and he will be voted off show. At the end of the day Dave's doing what he's supposed to 'trying' to learn to dance - it has to be the fault of the voting system and if so hopefully this can be addressed next year so we never get this impossible situation on Strictly Come Dancing again!

Dave has not 'danced' one step since the series began! Even worse than that, he is now playing up to the 'funny' image. He is NOT funny, he cannot dance and is not even trying to learn the dances properly. Get rid of him. The results Saturday were a travesty. Which one of the celebs that are actually putting in the effort will have to leave to keep him in this week-end? Get real people!

So sorry for Rachel last night, surely the British Public should be favouring someone who has worked so hard and improved week on week!

It is unfair to him now because the competition is so high.

I do not know who to feel sorry for most tonight 3rd Nov; Rachel Riley or Dave Myers. Rachel with great praise from the judge son Sat. Or Dave Myers tonight as he walked up to Rachel and said I'm sorry. He knew full well that it should have been him, as her performance was far better every week.
    Dave you are a gent!

Great so we have another John Sergeant situation!! Would the IDIOTS out there please stop voting for the Hairy Biker! It is an absolute joke that he is still in and Rachel has gone! This is a dance competition not a popularity contest. And what was Abby doing in the bottom two? She is one of the best dancers! Joke!

I've been disappointed with the voting system on this so called 'dance competition' when obvious good dancers showing incredible improvement get voted off at the expence of complete and utter useless 'dancers' that only get worse each week, but this weeks show has plumbed the depths of TRAVESTY. And how can dave myers hold his head high and have the nerve, no audacity, to continue in a show that is about improving your dancing skils. PLEASE SHOW SOME INTEGRITY and step DOWN.

why bother to let the public vote if when they do the judges get pious and say the two with the least votes shouldn't be in the vote off, someones got to be that's the nature of the programme and I for one hope daves stays in a bit longer lets celebrate the ones trying and not the ones that started good the best dancer will win in the end I think it will be boring when daves goes out - the great british public always puts a spanner in the works every year and dave is the spanner this year

If Dave had any backbone he would have thrown in the towel and declared himself useless the man has no backbone the show is a joke
