Tonight eight will become seven, as one of our couples will dance for survival before leaving the show. Languishing at the bottom of the leader board doesn’t always guarantee a place in the dance-off as Kimberley and Nicky have proved. Which of our couples will dance another day? Louis has a natural talent as a dancer and his own understated style and a mesmerising presence visible only to artistic souls as he is sensitive, not overt and does not conform to the judges' requirement of being an insincere luvvie like them. They wish him to be another sheep grinning/frowning/pouting through each dance (which constitute acting in their eyes) and unless he does this they have stated that they will under-mark him. They cannot see that they are stifling his character, not expanding it, as they humiliate and embarrass him each week. It seems to me that thousands of people admire him and his beautiful (sometimes balletic) dancing and only 4 insulting judges dislike him. I think he is a magical find for the programme and his talent is not being recognised. Should he conform to the judges' demands (to be in with a chance of winning) or stick with his own subtle style and be thrown out of the competition?

I do believe the trouble with the judges and Louis is that they do not know what perfection is. Louis never puts a foot wrong and for some reason that upsets the judges. They certainly do have there favourites and Louis is just not one of them.

    Hi all,

My god gorscot we were in bad form.

Micheal is one of my favourites as well you misunderstand what I said I love his routines he just didn't get in the zone with that AT but he stepped it up when it mattered.

He is by far my favourite and long may he continue and I loved that American Smooth as well.

    Keeeeeeeeep Dancing

I have to admit I did think Victoria would be in the bottom two, I wanted her to stay but I could see there was no way they would put the others in the dance off. I had thought Lisa would be the second because the dance hadn't suited her, she has been lucky to be kept in because her technique is not up there with the other dancers and was surprised at the score she got but wasn't surprised Michael was in the dance off in the end.

We loved Tesses outfit, but we were laughing that much we almost missed who was in the dance off.

Poor Claudia, which hotel is she working at? Does her chambermaid money make up what she was earning for ITT?

    @ rufus
Thought flavia deserved a good match this year, she got one with Louis but agree another would have been a better match, my suggestion would have been Aliona or Ola, both have a real competitive streak and personality which would have suited Louis. Though think they have warmed to each other
The pairing of Kristina and Colin wasn't right, the height difference made it more difficult

I am not commenting on the dancers, please can the BBC retire Bruce Forsythe , after all, they get rid of dancers and judges when they are older and it is time for Bruce to hang up his dance shoes and let someone younger take over.

    @sealjay.

I do have a favourite, well, a couple, now! :O)
But, that's not to say when people do a routine that really works, that I wouldn't praise them for it.
I loved Louis & Flavia's Halloween Dance and also their Waltz.
Nicky & Karen haven't really done it for me, until their Charleston the other night.

However, what I love about Strictly this year is that we have a real dance contest on our hands.
The final table seems to be changing week, by week.

I'm sure that some people think it's a foregone conclusion with Denise etc.

But, as we've seen in the past, the obvious front runner doesn't always win.
Chris and Ola are proof of that..and in some ways, even though I didn't vote for them, in that particular final, I thought their attitude was great and they put up one hell of a fight and I still have their Charleston, on You-tube, which remains one of my all time Strictly highlights.

    Rich.

Thanks for that :-) I've taken that on board
I am however really enjoying watching him dance as I think he's very good :-)
