Meet the Strictly audience

Zoe......as much as I love Claudia......one of her is enough so please be yourself and not an imitation of Ms Winkleman!

Fab interviewer. Love the way Martine connects with the people in the queue. Being a Len Goodman fan I must say that the person in the queue is a dead ringer!!

I love Zoe, and I particularly like her interaction with Ian Waite. I wish we could see more of Ian on SCD.

I have tickets for this weeks show (very excited!) and was wondering if anyone has some tips with regard to what happens on the day for the audience. eg what time to start queuing & how long it takes etc

Brilliant! what a great natural talent - the people were clearly relaxed and comfortable with Martine - credit to her and her personality!!!

Is there an age limit for the Strictly audience? I thought the programme makers were making an effort to make it appeal to a younger audience, but there never appear to be any children there, though plenty of them phone into the ITT programme. My daughter loves it and I'd love to take her.

I was at the SCD-movie night and here's my experience.

Don't bother applying for tickets for SCD ALL the best seats are reserved for BBC staff's guests and cronies. All paid for by BBC's Licence fee payers.

The general public are there simply for sound effects.

Oh, why is the lovely Claudia Winkleman dressed so drabbly?

Is all the SCD's Presenters' wardrobe budget spent on Tess?

Surely the 1% of the money saved not having Sir Brucie do the Results show ;-) could pay for a decent dress and shoes for Claudia?

This is the first time I've seen Martine's work, and she is evidently a natural, with effortless screen presence, compelling charisma and an ability to connect with people. I hope to see more of her in the near future

The one thing I wish with the audience is that they would stop the stupid whooping, cheering and booing, it ruins the dancing. And do they really have to stand up every time someone has a vaguely mediocre performance. It got seriously irritating last week.

Annie oh how I agree with your comments - the audience is obviously being encouraged to make as much noise as they - this has been happening for years on the X Factor and finally the viewing figures for that show are going through the floor! the same will eventually happen to Strictly Come Dancing unless they start addressing this issue. I have just made an official complaint to the BBC not that they will probably take any notice but at least it made me feel better!

I loved Claudia but Zoe is a refreshing change so please keep her - and she can dance!

annie I think the audience are being encouraged to make as much noise as possible during the dance and at the end - You can see Bruce is always encouraging them to get up to give all the couples a standing ovation. It's a shame because a standing ovation used to be something special but now that everyone gets the same it's nothing out of the ordinary any more.

How do the audience get their tickets is it done through a ballet does anyone know?

Can someone confirm that it's only three who go to Blackpool for the finals please - then one is eliminated leaving two for the dance off?
