Lulu and Brendan Cole, Team Brulu

Bruno thought Lulu danced the Foxtrot with all the "emotional fragility of a teenager in love..." and Alesha described her Rumba with Brendan as "elegant and romantic".

I loved your pink dress, I hope everything goes well for you on Saturday.

  • Comment number 7.

Fab to see my favourite dancer paired with a fellow Scot. Adored the Samba last week. Go Team Brulu!

  • Comment number 8.

Absolutely love the pair of you and Brendon - its so good to see you enjoying dancing with Lulu - sometimes in past Strictlys you have looked so fed up !
I'd love to see the pair of you make it to the quarter finals ... and so chuffed the Samba didn't see you out of it this week. Good luck for all your dances.

  • Comment number 9.

Good Luck for saturday and every week after that. Love watching your training tapes, you make me laugh.

  • Comment number 10.

It's great to finally have a place to say good luck to my favourite team! Brendan is the best pro dancer ever! The last couple of weeks the dances have been absolutely awesome - the Samba curse is dead, and that Rhumba was so tasteful and beautiful.

Can't wait to see what Brendan comes up with for the Halloween show - last year his performance was certainly the highlight for me and I often think of it with real delight.

So good luck guys - and I hope you won't need it!

  • Comment number 11.

Go team Brulu! Loved all the dances so far especially the samba. Can't wait to see what you doing for the Halloween show!

Brendan is definitely my favourite so Lulu you are a very lucky lady!! Good luck both of you and lets hope the judges give you lots of praise this week, you can count on my vote!! :o)

  • Comment number 12.

My little girl (Sophie, 2 1/2) loves you Lulu - she copies your samba drop-to-knees finish and asks to watch that dance over and over. It's great to see how much you love dancing and inspiring her too - much more than my dancing along does!

  • Comment number 13.

Great routine, loved it, so sad when I came to vote the lines had closed - or thats what it said! Not much time for us if we have to nip out ! But loved you both anyway.

  • Comment number 14.

The Halloween show was brilliant - I though Team Brulu were excellent - great choreography and entertainment

  • Comment number 15.

    Loved the Halloween Show!!
Lulu your costumes, makeup & hair have been amazing as always ( outwith Strictly too.) I love your book, it's my bible.
Brendan, the choreography has been excellent & you are a real prince charming whilst partnering Lulu...my 10 year old commented on how cute you were on Saturday night, new "hair-doo" a hit!!! good luck for this weekend..

  • Comment number 16.

Brendan has to be the best Halloween choreographer (not that he isn't always) of all time! Loved the entrances! And yes, I totally agree with the 'Prince Charming' comment. Best of luck for next week!

  • Comment number 17.

The Halloween show was ace! Loved your costumes, hair and makeup and Brendan's choreography is just the best!!!

Looking forward to the Tango this week which is my favourite. Lulu you go girl and give it lots of passion, can't wait!! Best of luck to you both!

  • Comment number 18.

Brendan , if you these blogs you reminded me of Aled Jones last night with your hair, it wasn't until wednesday night's It Takes Two when someone rang in the piont of view and said it.

    Loved the routine last Saturday

  • Comment number 19.

  • Comment number 22.

Simply the best, on the box on a saturday night, best of luck for tomoro night Lulu and Brandon!!!

  • Comment number 23.

Good luck for tonight! Not that I think you'll need it :)

  • Comment number 24.

Giving it laldy Lulu, but gonnae no sing, hen, I am terrified you'll forget yer steps.

  • Comment number 25.

Brenan you are magnificent this season. Lulu, couldn't you just be a little less intense and look like you're enjoying it? Thousands of us would happily change places with you! Oh, and please stop mouthing the words. We know you can sing but this is dancing. Good luck.

  • Comment number 26.

Sorry Lulu but I really think you have had it now. Nice to have seen you having a go but you just weren't good enough. I think its the mouthing the words that has really got to people though.

  • Comment number 27.

Lulu, you are letting Brendan down by not doing as he teaches you too, The contest is to learn to dance, not sing along and say, that was fun!

  • Comment number 28.

Lula's exit is a travesty!! there are so many other contestants who should have gone first. If the 'dance-off' still applied, she would have been saved by the Judges. Russell Grant is a joke....Audley, nice guy but really.....and Anita Dobson compared with Lulu...you can't be serious!!!

  • Comment number 29.

Nooooooooooooooooooo! You cannot be serious. Lulu was better, i agree with you ritamary @28

  • Comment number 30.

I'm bitterly disappointed, I felt this would happen as it does each year. I wish the BBC would give us an extra two phone numbers so that we could vote with the judges to oppose the votes for either of the bottom two contestants.

  • Comment number 31.

Lulu well done - sorry that you have been voted off SCD - It was very interesting to see you doing your last dance with Brendan you looked so relaxed dancing free style - and it seems so strange you you couldn't overcome the nerves each week - when you think of all the thousands of people you have sung for over the years - but suppose ballroom dancing is something you found too difficult to grasp -but what a fantastic singer you are.

  • Comment number 32.

Well done Team Brulu, I think you did really well this week and thought you seemed stronger in the body but I'm so sorry that you were voted out but you should hold your head high because you really have improved from the first week.

  • Comment number 33.

Tonight team Brulu danced their last dance, what a shame.
Lulu you are so bubbly, and look even better now than 40 years ago, amazing!
So sorry to see you leave SCD, I will miss you.

  • Comment number 34.

Brendon fabulous as usual, if Artem is still injured, maybe you can stand in for him, at least keeping one half of teem Brulu alive and kicking!!!!!

  • Comment number 35.

Sorry, but there was no team Brulu. It was all about Lulu

  • Comment number 36.

Sorry Brendan better partner next time x

  • Comment number 37.

So sorry to see you both go - I think it was unjust - but thats the British public for you - they don't judge the dancing - but I'm sure you both have other tings to do and who knows, maybe we will see you dance together again in one of the shows. Hope so.

  • Comment number 38.

I'm so sad about this! Lulu, you've improved so much, and what will we do without Brendan there next week? Seriously though, I do think this was a poor result. I like all the couples in this years' programme, but if it's about dancing, there are at least two more who should have gone first.

Still, what is more important is that both Brendan and Lulu had fun, which I really hope they did. Fantastic pro dancer, fantastic celeb, and great fun all round.

    Next year Brendan? :)

  • Comment number 39.

So disappointed that Brendan is out of the competition, but Lulu was so "myself" and believe how she ignored him having the last dance, I really felt sorry for Brendan.
Which dance did Lulu get Brendan through with this year, one that he usually get voted out with, was it the Rumba or Samba???

Shame that Artem has a spine injury, I wish him a speedy recovery so he can get back dancing with Holly.....but at least I get to see Brendan dance again this Saturday, I still love him so much....cant wait till Saturday.

    I so love this show,

  • Comment number 40.

So glad to hear that Brendan will be back this Saturday. Lulu's behaviour towards him and her refusal to acknowledge the support he gave her left me with a bad taste in my mouth that will be washed away upon seeing Brendan dance with the lovely Holly.

  • Comment number 41.

Never liked the pairing with Lulu - it was ridiculous.
I think you did some very clever choreography to keep her in the competition and were very gallant in defending her.
I have never been a fan of your bad boy image, but what i once thought of as delusional ranting i know consider to be a gentlemanly defence of your partner.
    Totally wasted on Lulu.
She exposed her true self when she pushed you off to dance on her own. Makes you wonder if she did forget the routines or if she thought she could do better on her own

  • Comment number 42.

Brendan, I am so pleased that you are coming to the rescue again, was so upset when you were kicked off the show. You are the best and of course my favourite. You have inspired me to learn to dance, and we are learning with Izabella Hannah, your previouse dance partner. Keep up the good work, you are the greatest.

  • Comment number 43.

Wonderful that you are back again. If I would were you I would insist on a decent partner next year, it is ridiculous that as the best dancer and certainly the most charismatic of all the professionals that you have had three duff partners in a row. Well done you for keeping on. But why aren't you coming to Poole this Jan? Saw you the last two years and am so disappointed.

  • Comment number 44.

teddyandgypsy 43 I'm sure Brendan has his own dance show that's on tour after Christmas called Live and Unjudged - which I think is visiting Poole on 2nd January but all the information will be on internet.
