Is it Who are you?

Today, live from a BBC studio waiting to speak to Radio Shropshire. Who are now saying hello.
And have now said goodbye. So onward bloggers to a new dawn! A new week with sunny uplands in prospect.
If this blog is shorter than normal that is because I have lost part of my left forefinger. Well I say lost, I stuck it back on (it was all flappy, you don't want to much detail) and stuck it with steri-strips. This was all in the cause of passing on the good old trampoline which has now moved on to a loving family who will care for it and bounce on it. Although everyone agreed it was time to go, losing it was one of those 'oh so that's it then' moments. We've had once since prehistoric times but child 3 has not climbed on its creaky springs for some while now, so it was time to go. And in the pulling apart of the mainframe, it decided to take its revenge. I won't go on about it.
This week Radio 2 are celebrating the voice, that most wonderful, complex and fascinating of instruments. Our part is to revive the drivetime tradition of the mystery voice competition. Now some of you might remember Johnnie Walker running this or even the late, great John Dunn. It's about the simplest quiz out there but it is endlessly intriguing and everyone has an opinion. And it's back! Is it Jeff Lynne, President Bush or Kermit the Frog? Ed Milliband, Steve Jobs or Brian Cox? Who knows, but let's argue about it.
And we've done voice tunes very recently so that leaves MYSTERY oldies please, or something to mark the return of a venerable institution. You're too kind.
Have a chirpy (if not bouncy) and buzzy Monday. See you after 5.
