Airport and Edinburgh bound this morning. The film show is coming from the Edinburgh Film Festival and so the ARF will too, in a small cubby-hole somewhere at the back. Cloudy and cool with the possibility of taking the wrong clothes. If this traffic doesn't shift it'll all be academic anyway and Mark will have to do it on his own. Assuming that doesn't happen, Robert Carlyle and Billie Jean King will star. BJK is talking about a movie made about her 'battle of the sexes' tennis clash with Bobby Riggs and Robert Carlyle is talking about Robert Carlyle essentially.

I've tried to help the cabbie find Radio 2 but he failed and we have a hybrid between Radio 3 and a Greek music station. You should try it sometime.

So, live from my cupboard at 5 with the all requester and your opening song of requirement is 1975,if you have a moment...

Have a bouncy and infectiously optimistic Friday. See you after 2 and/or 5.

    Good morning all

Sunny and warm, so far, but we had some very welcome rain overnight but not enough to help the parched grass. Jennie, I was thinking it might be Wimbledon oldies today after listening to Vassos who has been there all morning so I'm off to get my thinking cap on!

I hope Deebee is making good progress and feeling less tired each day.

Back in a bit, although I shouldn't be here at all as I'm curtain making today!

    Morning all

Lovely catching up with everything over the weekend. Apologies to Queen Milly that it's taken me this long to offer my salutations!

Thank you for all the finger-crossing. It's a busy day here, so hopefully I won't be too much on tenterhooks......

    Shona - you're quite the celeb-magnet!! :)) Well R2 magnet at least.....

    Amelia - eloquently put.

Ate Roast Beef & Yorkshires and the rest. Shared puddings – Crumble and something involving Dime Bars .

So then we came bck here and admired our garden but it was too windy to sit outsde iand so I KB'd - start ed with "You'll and taught some cheats so we could all play together. And we did! And it was such fun!

Am missing Canute as well, Hoffs. And I have also enjoyed hearing about the exploits of Shona and Amelia. Very sleepy here, so I bid you all good night. Xx

Reading back has made me smile so much! Shona and amelia I can feel the enthusiasm and excitement seeping through the screen from what you have both written. I'm glad that you oth had such a wonderful day. I have also really enjoyed reading about JennieW's veggie exploits. Puts my paltry efforts to shame.

Deebee - I hope that you are behaving yourself - if you feel like wandering around the block, sign in and wander around the blog instead. Much better for you at this stage of your recovery.

Autumn_Gale - I shall be keeping my fingers crossed for you tomorrow.

No Canute yet? Hope all is OK.

Sorry, eyes crossing again. Time to go. See you tomorrow bloggerpals xx

Ameilia, I have been thinking all weekend about the most wonderful things we could have said on the podcast, including Simon's tennis lesson from BJK but when you get a microphone thrust in your face at 2 seconds notice...........................'tis hard to come up with anything other than
