Rolling that Stone

I know we have important things going on, ladies and gentleman of the blogosphere, but next to yesterday's Prof Cox 'second universe' revelation/observation/possibility, everything will have to wait it's turn. Nothing we can do about it except marvel at the thought and carry on. Child 3 was very excited of course and there is now a new photo for the bedroom wall, and another 15 minutes of quantum theory discussed for his memory. And for the rest of us, brain expansion always welcome. Fight the loss of the grey cells!

Today on drivetime, we welcome Ian Hunter and Verden Allen as Mott The Hoople reform to play 5 UK dates in the autumn. The shows will also feature original members Mick Ralphs and Overend Watts (great name!). They have many interesting rocknroll stories to tell and quite a few hits to perform. Fans of 70's glam and young-forever-Dudes will not want to miss them! And I think OVER THE HILL oldies please as a report for an insurance company 'reveals' the top signs to look for to see if you're past it. It's rubbish of course with 'revelations' like feeling stiff, groaning when you bend down and falling asleep in front of the TV' etc etc. But that AGEING PROCESS will work for some top tunes i think.

Have a nimble and flamboyant Wednesday, see you after 5.
