BBC Radio 2

That Autumnal chill lets you know precisely where we are and who's in charge. 2 enormous spiders in the house late last night too-I let them proceed unimpeded. There will be a moment of reckoning here as I'm sure there will be a moment shortly when certain demands are made and their ejection is called for; the old postcard and cup trick will be do fine. I've no idea about the spider life-cycle but my guess is this is their favourite time of year. Webs everywhere, house visits to make, bath trips to enjoy. Something is up.
Straight from the show last night to a showing of a friend's new film so consequently no food was consumed until late night nuts (not a good life choice). Now a large breakfast will be needed to make up for it. The threat of Nigel only delivering a salad tonight is only making things worse. Ok it might be a Lamb Za'atar salad (not sure either) but it is still a salad and we expect more frankly. Come on Nige, pour some chilli sauce on it.
And it's DR WHO oldies please. New series on BBC1 this weekend (you hadn't noticed?) so it is time for those timelord tunes you have knocking around please.
Have a well-organised and on-time Thursday, see you after 5

    Morning All,

Heard some of the show yesterday and enjoyed it.

Hope people going to the Games today have a great time

And of course hope it's a good day for everybody else. See you over the page for the ARF, my suggestion will probably be somewhat predictable

I found Fred Fanakapan on YouTube, sung by Gracie Fields. It's something Desmond Carrington might play, and probably has in his time.

Bedtime now, methinks. I was having an action packed Doctor Who dream last night, before I was rudely awakened by the bin lorry at an un-Godly hour. I've been watching The Walking Dead with the mister, this evening. I'm not so keen on dreaming about that though...

    Goodnight one and all x

Yes! I'm on! Ssshhhh - don't say a word - I crept up behind Granny Hoffs' wireless router and I don't think it knows I'm here yet.

Firstly, apologies for not saying 'thank you' at the end of my last request post.
Secondly, yippee for the JBG family - have a great day at the athletics and if you see two elderly ladies with a 6 yr old 'ginger ninja' lurking near the aquatic centre tomorrow morning, then we will not be far away. We'll wave anyway in your direction. In a quandry too - we love our ARFO suggestion, but also like yours a lot!

Finally, thanks to Erica and Deebee for the cut and paste offer (sure it won't be chosen but at least I can promise the boys that I've tried).

Enjoyed up until after the Confession tonight at which point we arrived at our destination. Also loved Mr Flugelhorn. Congrats to Billie, Jennie and Zoe for the menshes too.

As for spiders - send them this way, I don't mind them. Mice, on the other hand.....

    Happy weekends all x

Mayo Man - Yer wanter go ter Thailand and then yer will see what BIG spiders really do look like!!!!!!!
A stumbled on a posh 'otel foyer... Noot one where a was staying... nor a grubby one... This was the Marriot top of the range 'appening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

As a walked across the vast floor.... A saw a VERY LARGE spider on the floor!!!!!!
Not a tarantula type one.... But a very skinny one with VERY long legs!!!!!
Reminded me 'usain Bolt a little bit!!!!!!
A went in for a closer look.... but keeping me as much distance as me mind would allow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A was worried.... Could it be verminious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A job for Rentokil Thai maybe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A decided ter go back and find me Thai girlfriend and ask 'er ter come and look!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

she came back with me.... Took a look..... But she didn't know if it was a killer or not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All she did say is keep well away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The fact that she didn't know but said keep away put the frighteners on me BIG style!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that is what yer call a BIG spider indoors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Noot that am saying my spider is bigger than yours Mayo pal.... Am just trying ter share me most interesting spider story with yersen on the web after yersen sharing yours with us on the web!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
