Hi bloggers from wild and windy Cornwall. Final 2 schools to be visited today in Tregony and Bude which means I'm away from my desk today. Young Liza Tarbuck in charge with Mick Hucknall as her guest.
Should be on last train into London and back on the show on Tuesday.
The school bell is going, another assembly awaits...

I should be asleep but am lying here thinking about eggs benedict. I have been for most of the day since his Lordship tweeted this morning. I remember the first time I tried it, truly the most magnificent, indulgent, breakfast dish. And of course the yokes have to be runny.

Argo was splendid, highly recommended. If like me you knew the wider story but not the specifics don't be tempted to google before you watch, terrifically tense at the end. More tomorrow maybe when not typing on phone.

    Night all

Glad to hear the various blogpets are doing well!

I quite enjoyed the bits of the show that I heard this evening. Liza played some good music, anyhow...

I'm really enjoying Richard Hammond's "Miracles of Nature" series on BBC1 at the moment. Tonight's show featured amongst other things a blind man on a mountain bike and a rather cute seal that could locate a radio controlled submarine blindfolded using his whiskers to detect movement in the water. Blimey - amazing stuff! And talking of amazing stuff, one of my ex-colleagues is going to be on Panorama tomorrow night.

Hope your weigh-in goes well, Jennie. Night night all.

#50 LOL Flo at Shona's little Willy! (And just for the record I am female ;0))

The bar was open when we got there Flo but they closed just before the show started as he didn't want folks drinking during the show.

Billie, I am so pleased to hear that Pepper is feeling better. Pets are such a worry sometimes but not my little Jimmy. The VET gave us a Gold Star. No glucose in his wee, weight as it should be, coat all sparkly, eyes bright and what a welcome he got when we entered.

Good to hear that your moggie is well on the way to a full recovery, Billie.

I think it's little Jimmy, Florence, but then again, perhaps you know something we don't................ ;0)

Billie, I'm so pleased there has been further progress with Pepper and maybe in a day or two he'll be back to normal... it's always such a worry when our beloved pets aren't well and can't tell us what is wrong. Hopefully Shona's little Willy has had a good report from the vet.
