What does Russell think of the Liverpool takeover?

Tris Cotterill | 10:16 UK time, Thursday, 21 October 2010

Don't know if you knew this but Russell is a massive Liverpool fan so with them being in the news we thought we'd get his thoughts on the takeover, the team and somehow, hmm, the possibility of having sex on a football pitch. You can also see a short clip of some of Russell's silky skills!

A Good News story - on the 29th October, 300 MYPs (Members of Youth Parliament) will debate in the House of Commons on issues which affect them. It is only the second time that a body of people other than MPs have debated in the chamber; the first time being when UKYP debated in October 2009. The five issues, voted on by 2,500 young people aged 11-18 are –

Sex Education – Should sex and relationships education be compulsory from primary school onwards?
University – Should university tuition fees rise?
War – Should we withdraw all British troops from Afghanistan by 2012?
Job opportunities – Should the school leaving age be raised to 18 in order to lower youth unemployment?
Transport – Should reduced transport fares for young people be protected from spending cuts?

The debate will be televised on the day on BBC Parliament and afterwards here

The Americans have taken LFC over. There was speculation that the Chinese Government were going to buy them. Imagine the whole of China owning LFC - definitely you'll never wok alone. The baseball owners taking over is appropriate though as like Liverpool baseball is well known for its number of strikes.
