  1. This week in Glasgow there's a double-whammy of Shieldinch-related sparkle featuring in Oran Mor's lunchtime Play, Pie and a Pint season. Sean Scanlan, who plays Innes' boxing coach Joe, stars in a production of 'Heaven', a story about a divine encounter in an airport departure lounge - oooh!...

  2. I love the snow. I love it. I find it hard to sit at my desk when those pretty white flakes are drifting by my window... but there are a few unhappy people around here. Can you imagine trying to film scenes that will be seen on the telly in April when there's snow on the ground?! Where are the d...

  3. So it looks like Nicki's had it with Shieldinch - a cab zipped her off to the land of Spanglish and sangria, into the well-tanned arms of Shirley, her substitute mum. 7. Eileen was daft bringing her nippy wheeled suitcase on a camping trip, but what was Murray thinking taking Eileen on a romantic Valentine's hike? Eileen doesn't do rural, unlike Gina, who looked right at home in her waterproofs. And what was Robbie playing at, making those withering comments...

  8. There's a nice interview with Johnny Beattie in The Sun, where he talked to Matt Bendoris about his life and work. Take a look at it on The Sun website. It was published in Saturday's paper.

  9. With Lenny up his old tricks there's blood on the streets of Shieldinch again. Amazing how he can go from psycho killer to family man in a matter of minutes. And can Ewan, a man with such fine puppy dog eyes, really be capable of cold-blooded murder? He has the genes but we hope he hasn't got th...
