  7. Sex And River City

    Thursday 13 November 2008, 16:48

BBC Scotland's Glasgow HQ has been rather taken over by all things Children In Need, as everyone prepares for tomorrow night. We can't move for Pudseys! As I write, the River City ladies are in the studio, rehearsing for their live performance of 'Here Come The Girls'. I just nipped down to watch them...

Er, okay, that may not be *entirely* accurate but you'll find out what I'm on about if you tune in to Children...

The new series of Dear Green Place starts tonight on BBC One Scotland, from 2235. What's this got to do with River City, eh? Well, the lovely Carmen Pieraccini (aka our own Kelly-Marie) and the equally lovely Jenny Ryan (Tina Hunter) star in it.

  12. Sharon's brother

    Wednesday 8 October 2008, 10:00

Did you spot the photo of Sharon's brother in last night's show? She was publicly grieving for poor David and completely manipulated the situation to win more attention from her Rainbow. Well, here's an interesting fact: the pic Sharon had placed behind the bar is of the actress' real-life brother!

  13. Tonight's show

    Tuesday 7 October 2008, 22:00

Raymond and Sharon are engaged! Aargh! Can he not see she's a manipulative so-and-so?! Having said that, I'm loving her antics. I want to hate her but I just can't. Eileen was brilliant, too. Sharon really has met her match in that ex-wife.

As for wee Eilidh... I thought Scott would be a great dad but...

    Thursday 25 September 2008, 18:20

Inspired by a request from dcampbell42002 (catchy name!), I tracked down the latest poems from Liz's writers' group. Here, for your delectation, are some more offerings from Deek and Malcolm.

  18. Last night's show

    Wednesday 24 September 2008, 11:25

Regardless of whether you're on Team Rossi or Team Cullen, last night's show was really moving. I felt so sorry for Ruth and am intrigued to see where she goes from here. Is the baby okay? Will it have a daddy? What kind of mum will Ruth make?

As ever, there was comic relief from Scarlett. I loved it...

Marty is, of course, the baby's biological father but Scott was drafted in as the surrogate...
