So the latest news in is that Apple have announced the launch of the ipad. Check out the details here.
Hmmm... the jury's out on this on, to me it looks like a really big iphone and sounds like it does the same stuff but er bigger....I'm not sure if you'll want this, if you already own a Toppa top laptop cos this is basically a laptop that is all screen.
Also a big sticking point is the price which is between £300-£500 a bit on the flippin pricey if you ask me. What DO you lot reckon? Are you an iphone owner or fan? Would you buy it?
">EA have come with another banger for your pleasure. It was one of our "Big for 2010" game predictions and I happy to report it gets an official release WOOP WOOP!
Made by the same guys that produced 'Star Wars, "Knights of the Old Republic" A llot of you guys and gals expect great things especially after the first (for me) wasn't brilliant.
I have one message for you all....BUY IT! Mass Effect is HEAVY like lead. The great thing is its only part 2 of a trilogy that should be a Peter Jackson movie.
This week on 1Xtra is all about Movie Week. We've gone big on movies we think are gonna be hot for 2010.
So naturally it got us thinking about games....
Now when it comes to movies and games we tend to struggle with balancing the two. I'm talking wicked man film and bad bwoy game..... like I said STRUGGLING! However there have been some really good movie games (Some!(.. We've dug deep on this to come up with our Rampage topp-a-top 5.
Violent, graphic and a favourite for superhero lovers. Mans game.
One of the most faithful adaptations to a film. Ground breaking.
New, cutting edge graphics (in 3D) and a compliment to the film.
So breaking tech news just in, some dude called George has hacked the Playstation 3 so you can play pirated games. Check the full story here. He's good at it too he's already done the iPhone. Peeps have been playing pirates on the Xbox for years but just before the launch of Call of Duty Microsoft somehow managed to block all the hacked Xbox's from going online! (Check our post on this.)
There were a lot of annoyed gamers that could only play at home but whose to blame if you play with pirated software! Ha ha!
Now Sony are very worried about losing tons of money....And it must be said copying of games is done cos they're so flippin expensive.
Bearing this in mind would you consider getting your's hacked? Do you have an online deaded Xbox? Do you think its theft? Or are hackers modern day Robin Hoods liberating gaming for the unwashed masses? Leave a comment

Phones, phones phones, they're everywhere and can do just about everything!!
The other day I went into a sweet shop and there was this guy talking to the shopkeeper about his phone and how good it was. He was going on about the fact that the games were as good as a PSP (Sony) that got me thinking. Does anyone really know exactly what their mobile can do? Take pics, play MP3s has anyone got the new Google phone? (Apparently it does free sat nav with google maps).

Here comes yet another shoot 'em up, this time of the 3rd person variety.
Have you seen the advert yet? That's right Mike and myself are doing our blue screen thing. So this game enters a real crowded market for a shoot 'em up, especially as Call of Duty is still top of the charts. There are definitely good things in this game that set it apart from the rest.
'Army of Two' goes big on the co op play and most of the missions include you and someone else having to work together in order to succeed. Flanking the enemy and catching them by surprise with teamwork is the order of the day.
If you work or live for gadgets then you need to know about CES, (Consumer Electronic Show) in Las Vegas.
It's the largest trade show in the US, and has been jumping off for more than 40 years ago. It was the first to introduce VCR, CD player, DVD, HDTV, XBox, Blu-Ray DVD..... Blah blah blah, too many to mention. If technology is your thing you would need to be there! (ok it maybe a bit far). So we spoke to Rhi Morgan from T3.com who gave us the heads up on the highlights from there , and what latest gadgets we can expect to be checking out in 2010.....
A couple of months ago we revealed the exclusive new Mordern Warfare 3 (sort of, okay yeah it was a spoof). Anyway now it seems someone's cheekily come up with another version. The Womans Edition. Now you know I'm equal oppuntunities gamer but I found this thing online that made me laugh out loud. Liberties me thinks.
What do think ? Should they do a downloadable add on for the 360 and PS3 or not. Photoshop has a lot to answer to. Leave a comment, let me know what you think Not too rude though.
What happens when a witch is entrusted to keep the balance of power between Heaven and Hell? A very slick game called Bayonetta! Some of the creators of Devil May Cry and Resident Evil have smacked it with this very original, retro styled game that could quite easily be a movie by Quentin Tarantino. Its Stylishly over the top and sexy, over indulging and cheesy in a cool way.....but it works and works well!
It's now a new year and there are some exciting games on the horizon to wet the appetite God Of War III, Alien v Predator or how about Mass Effect 2. Listen to here to our predictions for what we think is gonna be big for 2010.
Now the question is what are you looking forward too? Let us know.
Okay no long ting with the games, you guys need to look out for this one, coming out next week. This is a first person shooter from E.A featuring two bumbling characters that have to do pretty much what you always have to do.
Fight your way through multiple baddies using various weapons and save the world. We had fun making this. It gave us a taster of what working on Avatar or some Hi-Tech movie would be like. And get this the two characters were entirely computer generated so we had to act (Gasp) as if they were realy there.
Don't blink or you might miss us. Next stop Hollywood!! (Well for me anyway, not sure about Mike).
