Jennifer Clarke (of this parish) and Hugh Levinson from the department that makes Moneybox and Analysis sent me these pics taken in their office on the first floor of BBC White City, the big, grey fortress on Wood Lane (and home to the Director General). A fox gained entry (nobody saw it but it had been spotted in another office earlier) and essentially trashed the place - with a special emphasis on paperwork. Some kind of protest?

@ooergosh Very funny. But would it be more effective than emailing Roger Bolton?

May we nominate areas of the BBC for it to visit? OOOH - could we send it to the offices of those who designed the Radio 4 website?

Perhaps the fox was looking for the Farming Today or Open Country office/studio, hoping for an interview, trashing the Money Box office in frustration?... ;-)

The investigation is focused on how the fox obtained a staff pass. Desk security confirms seeing at least one 'quite foxy' visitor enter the building over the weekend. A disguise has not been ruled out.

Actually, thinking about it further .. does this raise serious concerns about the level of security on the front desk?

This has made me smirk for all the wrong reasons. Thank you Steve. You've rather perked up my day.
