How do you get more water vapour without the planet warming up in some way? It's known as a feedback effect. Co2 methane etc warm up the planet creating more water vapour creating more of a greenhouse effect making the planet warmer producing more water vapour etc. It could make the effect it exponentially worse. Note I say could! dont want to be accused of preaching religeon. even though its sceptics and deniers who seem to rely on blind faith.

This may be of some interest to you and others. Its a presentation demonstrating various areas of this subject. ( Its BBC though so if anyone believe they are part of the conspiracy it won't be for you)

Without the greenhouse gases, all the heat from the earth would escape into space and we'd all freeze. Its accepted science. The only question is are we adding too much Co2 and methane into the atmosphere. The climate isn't as simple as just getting hotter relative greenhouse gasses we add to the atmosphere. Also it doesn't mean hotter summers. For us it could mean more rain as the ocean is heated or even colder weather if the gulfstream that gives us our summer is desalinated by melting ice in the arctic.

You mention Mars. NASAs theory on terraforming Mars includes introducing green house gasses to warm up the atmosphere.

It was an unusual conveyor belt of rain cloud that dropped a record amount of rainfall. The water falling on the hills flows into the rivers. Plenty of hills in that area(near the lake district). Also The river Cocker flows into the river Derwent in Cockermouth. Giving that area a double dose of trouble.

The original mosque was given planning permission to add minarets. Which is why this far right wing party took the way over the top step of organising a referendum to pander to its small minded supporters. I'm sure Swiss cities are pretty dull and generic in places like ours and they have a planning system to stop any damage to the views. So why write a ban of minarets into their constitution? This far right behaviour is Very disturbing.

Criticising the BBC is a very popular subject especially for Daily Mail readers. They probably need the extra staff.

Its a shame because the regular weekend civil war between Scotland and England wouldn't be off topic for a change.

There'll be people out there fitting lighthouse bulbs in their front rooms just to spite Gordon Brown or 'The Eurocrats in Brussels'. If you've got money to waste on being stubborn then that's fine. Wouldn't want to be seen as a bully. The Climate lobby has reduced Jeremy clarkson to a quivering wreck with their bullying tactics.
