It's very dignified, as my Prime Minister, John Key, showed the other day with his Top 10 Reasons to visit New Zealand (he offered to pick American tourists up at the airport himself - his contact details are on the web for anyone interested).

  This ad encourages people to report people studying CCTV cameras to some terrorism hotline.
  
  If people actually do what you are asking they may become a suspected terrorist, and with UK terrorism laws, that is a very unfortunate thing to be.

  Personally I'm not sure why you need a separate radio have your say and the website have your say. Wouldn't it make sense to merge HYS with WHYS and also deliver it on television as well perhaps once a month or so?
• Into the heart of India 12:06pm on 26 Apr 2009 My question is about the election's format. To my relatively ignorant understanding, it seems archaic and undemocratic. I appreciate it's hard to have a democratic system within a federal structure but what are the options for improving the Indian system? Is it something that matters to Indians?
• Into the heart of India 11:59am on 26 Apr 2009 What's with all these grumpy license fee payers? It's not as if they paid for the whole train. They would have covered part of the cost. The World Service (taxpayer funded via the foreign office) and BBC World (advertiser funded) would have also contributed to it. The train carries not one journalist but journalists from BBC Online, BBC World Service, BBC Chinese Service, BB Somali Service, BBC India Service, BBC TV, etc etc...
  
  A train I feel is an excellent way of getting about to meet the people. I can't imagine Road or Air would work quite as well. And for me in New Zealand (watching on commercially funded BBC World News) and for others elsewhere it would be great to get in depth coverage of this election as opposed to say just informing me who finally won, after the election is done and dusted.
• Jade Goody's death 2:41pm on 24 Mar 2009 Not newsworthy, especially to a BBC World News viewer. If you're after popularity, as you suggest, then you shouldn't pretend to be a news organisation. Decide which business you are in and stick to just that please.

  BBC in the UK is paid for by licence fee payers.
  
  Internationally, the British taxpayer via the foreign office pays for World Service radio and some TV (BBC Arabic, for instance) for the purposes of 'counter-propaganda'.
  
  The rest of BBC's international TV is paid for by advertisers. The BBC World News Channel on which I watch BBC World News America (the programme that Rome is the executive producer of) is commercially funded.

• Choosing the news 6:22pm on 26 Feb 2009 Between Al Jazeera English and BBC World News, I feel adequately informed about world news. There is very little overlap between the two channels (unlike say BBC and CNN which pretty much cover the same stories). Then there's FOX which I also watch to get the right-wing perspective on US politics (they are also excellent at breaking US news stories).

  Why did the BBC World News Channel have a Bafta (I think that's what it was) awards ceremony special? That was strange and unnecessary. Surely there was world news that could have been reported on during that time.
