Ferdinand must sharpen up 3:59pm on 11 Oct 2009 He made mistakes and was not match sharp for this International. Thankfully it didn't really matter.

He will get back to form but needs games / or if the injury is affecting him then United have to bite the bullet and give him time to recover properly.

What it should highlight is that England are not as good as everyone seems to think we are. The team can improve and needs to if England are to have any chance in the World Cup.

To many players just don't seem up to it if the first choices are not fit & in form. I trust Capello but I just don't get Heskey. Surely anyone is a better option. He can't stay on his feet and can't score...for such a big strong lump the time on his backside is bizarre. Perhaps try him at CB if he has to play!

Ferdinand & Terry are Englands 2 best CB's therefore fit / in form they will play.

If United lose Rooney they have no chance...Owen, Berba, Park, Nani, Valencia et al are not going to deliver a league title!

Chelski...if they lose Lampard I can't see them scoring enough unless Drogba catches fire. They have more chance than United!

So as we stand Liverpool have 2 major match winning talents and United have 1. Pure arrogance to suggest that it will be anything other than close!

I'm not sure they need or can get the best out of Robinho and SWP together.
It seems it was a statement of intent but City will need to wait for next season or poss January to really get the benefit of the takeover.

It seems Madrid got the best end of the deal. A massive amount of money for a player that stated he wanted to go and has potential. I think they saw City coming and they paid well over the odds.

That will finance a massive deal for Ronaldo next summer!

City sold a high class defender in Corluka and haven't replaced....that would be a concern.

To be actually publically trying to blame him is despicable. Surely if he had something to say he would do it in the team de-brief.

Not exactly a team player this chap is he.

Tom....ignore this idiot. Hold your head high and you will I'm sure enjoy future successes...without him!
