Anyway the BBC should be leading the way in setting higher standards instead of bringing them to an all time tabloid low.

Someone get a grip.

Talksport even sounds intellectual in comparison to 5live.

The controllers and presenters have taken dumbing down to a new level.

I actually heard a guy call in on a Nicky Campbell phone in say how he thought this station has gone downhill.So it isn't only us lot on here that can see the deterioration in this grotesque tabloid type broadcasting.
Answering your questions about 5 live 3:40pm on 04 Dec 2009 The very thought of a mixture of Gabby Logan and Wednesdays PMQ's is utterly bizarre.What authority has she to discuss anything about politics except by way of trying to earn or pay back an extremely extravagant BBC contact/ salary ?

Any chance of someone replying to some of these points.

Is it possible to have a 5live or radio message board back? It is just impossible to make time to seek out these blessed blogs. I stumbled across this one quite by accident.
Answering your questions about 5 live 2:58pm on 04 Dec 2009 What exactly was the point of sending Derbyshire going on a licence fee payers, paid for holiday this week ?What a complete waste of time with an inadequate broadcaster.It has become quite obvious that her knowledge outside of some football topics,babies,teenypop music or celebrity gossip is extremely limited.And yes we are ' listeners ' who deserve better.A guy even got onto Nicky Campbell's phone in the other day saying how this station has gone downhill.So the ones that complian can't all be wrong.Is Gabby Logan or the dire Richard Bacon the answer ? I don't think so ! Somebody in management had better wake up.
Some big changes to the 5 live schedule 12:40pm on 04 Dec 2009 5live used to be a good radio station.Why have successive controllers dumbed it down ?Talksport sounds intellectual in comparison.

I would advise you to listen to your Up All Night programmes to see the difference in quality compared to the dire ego driven presenters you have on your daytime schedules.

Btw the Daliya Rhaphael should have been given the Drive show instead of the dreadful Anita.Heard Daliya on Drive last night with Peter.What a difference.Listenable for once without you know who ?

What an absolute waste of licence payers money this gravy train jaunt has been for Victoria and gods knows how BBC many crew members.

A programme consisting of filling in time for 3 hours fully 6 hours before the actual draw !It's criminal.

Don't ask me to pay anymore towards the BBC if this is how you pour our money down the drain with pointless programmes such as this.

Zimbabwe - day 2 4:43pm on 02 Dec 2009 Funny that, but I don't remember inflation in Zimbabwe being so high when those wicked,evil and terrible white colonialists ruled the land and brought prosperity to the country.
