firstly im a test cricket fan btw

the ultimate test of all sports

@ #1 i also have traveled around the Caribbean , and bummed around Antigua
for 3 months or so

the importance of rejuvenating cricket out
there is off the scale, Stanford at least
is helping out in a big way, showing the kids they can make a life, giving them
something to strive for, instead of crack
cocaine and alcoholism.

to me Caribbean cricket should be about
the craic! and not tallented kids and young adults addicted to crack alcohol and
basketball.

as some 1 else said earlier why don't the England players pool the money if they win
or give half to the ECB or some other
charity!

and as for the WAG's well they looked happy enough!!!!

its a different culture out there! there's a jump up for any special occasion, even
if its just a Friday or Saturday night :)

im convinced that any 1 who truly loves cricket, will want to play tests, its the
ultimate form of sporting combat/battle/war/chess

20/20 will eventually support the test form
of the game financially, and who knows test cricket may eventually become popular!!!

please guys and girls, enyoy the short
game, its a bit of fun, the party aspect is
fun and occasionally we will see some
brutal batting and bowling, as seen out in
India :)

night ? coverage was awesome , part from 1 guy telling us the secret to the Stanford ground :)..............

also panesar is a bit crap, he needs the pefect wicket so swap for rashid

otherwise ur squad is ok, but im not sure about cook also im a bit concerned about the lack of forntline bowlers, but hey

not a bad line up
Pietersen hides cracks in England batting 12:46pm on 10 Aug 2008 he does indeed have a nice average for warickshire, but gas only batted in 4 inninings in th cc this season, and has certainly lost confidence with the bat since then :(
also i listed our options of the best performing keepers in the couintry in the cc and put in the best batters, and the best catchers
all i was saying in my post is we have many many options in the keeper departement, its not a list in order of favourites haha ;/

mustard- average 20.92, high score92, catches43, 1 stumping

jones - average 24.4, high score 53, catches, 47 catches , 2 stumpings

read - average 36, high score 142, catches 37, 2 stumpings

prior- average 54.85, high score 133 (3 centuries scored) , 27 catches, 0 stumpings

davies - average 37.21, high score 99 , catches 51, stumpings 0

nixon - average 50.75, high score 92, catches 31, 1 stumping

foster- average 32.46, high score 88, catches 37, 1 stumping

as u can see we have no shortage of quality keeper/batsmen , batsmen/keepers

so lets pick one pls!!! i like them all really, they all have strenghts and all have somthing to offer, tim needs to go back to his county for a bit
Pietersen hides cracks in England batting 00:02am on 09 Aug 2008 no worries mate, the only big issues i have is not including jones in a rotational bowling line up , a new keeper, and possibly repalacing strauss, i dont see that as absolutly needed tho, just the keeper , and any 1 of the best keepers will do, we can still play 5 bowlers then
