Capello will keep England grounded 9:08pm on 08 Oct 2008 Beckham has a place. As does Rooney, if he shows he is growing up. Lampard and Barry in the centre. Gerrard in Liverpool and nowhere near the team. Up front Heskey, in goal Almunia when he is English. Walcott, obviously, and Young. Terry, like Gerrard, nowhere near the England training camp. Ferdinand and Cole and King and Bentley in. Just a few thoughts...

After Bolt, the horses 10:42pm on 17 Aug 2008 Absolutely nothing. I am most in favour of those who have a good education, and generally, with hard work, one thing leads to another. You have to admit that having horses and money, generally leads one to an image of "toff" if you are using terms to characterize the two extremes of British society. I imagine that the "football yobs" label, which is also presupposing that all those who like football, as I do, are yobs, which I am not, got onto this page thinking it was about the 100 m rush at the Olympics. Good evening to you and I apologise if you felf insulted.
After Bolt, the horses 10:01pm on 17 Aug 2008 What a laugh! Football yobs and horsey toffs on one page! Particularly liked the synchronised horsey diving comment from Poppy. Oh, my word! However, I agree that all sports should be respected and promoted. I thought handball was rubbish until I played it. To all those who don't like horses, get onto other pages, respect those who do and admire the skills involved. I am not very interested (except for the medals), but a lot of time and sacrifice has been put into this.
When is a grouse fair game? 8:28pm on 12 Aug 2008 There will be a host of complaints until the refs get docked cash on subsequent video evidence. Murray lost, no doubt about it, but even so. Curiously the worst I can remember are the Americans. Add that to Ryder cup behaviour and "World Series" baseball...

Batting sound to 9, 5 batters, 5 bowlers, a spinner every bit as skillful as Monty and a keeper who can keep. Who can better that? They wouldn't do worse. Siders has played his part, but he lacks penetration, and Jones needs to come back urgently.
