He is a DISGRACE as is anyone who gouges an eye. Cowardly and dangerous and no place in the game. If their coach really did say it is part of the game he should be banned too. Series hadss been great. Ref last wek was shocking this week I thought him pretty good (Burger incident excepted again, but that was last week's ref's fault again) and you have to credit Steyn with bottle and skill and Fourie too, even if he just touched the line with his KNEE a split second before he touched down. But it is sport and stuff happens. That is what makes it worth watching.

I think it is harsh to pick on the Welsh. I am English and could see that some of the Welsh players were our best performers in the test and they were all giving it everything they've got. O'Gara would probably have kicked better than Jones, but Jones moves the ball better and that is where the Lions outplayed the Boks.
Lions ratings 09:39am on 21 Jun 2009 kicking and refs usual inability to know anything about what is happening in the front row cost a game Lions should have won. Boks played pressure rugby with no flair and it worked cos they kicked their pens and we didn't.

you keep confusing your opinion with fact.
My arsenal jibe was a joke against your username, which is arrogant in the extreme, but on a serious note, any club which condones the ridiculous and unsporting behaviour of Drogba over several seasons, cannot possibly claim to be "fine." They may be good at winning football matches, but the "finest" club should uphold the ethos of the sport it plays, not trample on it like Drogba and others do and did.
I liked the comment about Ashley Cole actually showing some class for once and keeping HIS teddy firmly in the pram at the end. That sort of behaviour might make your club "fine" in the long run
