Hansen is a gent and one of the few ex pro's frequently on TV that when they talk you should really listen because the man knows what he's talking about. Would have been interesting so see how he'd have done in top level management (my guess is very well, just like everything else he's turned his hand to) but management's loss is the football watching public's gain.
The Kindergarten Cup 4:13pm on 29 Oct 2009 Aquilani didn't start for Liverpool, he came off the bench. And here was me thinking you'd watched the whole 90 minutes of each tie. Amateurish. :D

Decent article but the cold hard stats have been a little distorted by the author above, because even if LKiverpool had beaten Chelsea 4-0 they'd still only have got one point as they don't hand Premiership points out for Champions League knockout fixtures. I'm very pedantic don't you know ;)
Meeting the men in charge 09:50am on 12 Feb 2009 I'm finding it hard to understand the last paragraph. It's clear to see that Benitez and Adams have both got a rough ride from the tabloids but one is doing a fantastic job at the top end of the league and the other one really struggled and his team dropped like a stone.

Benitez gets slated whether he wins or not. I doubt Adams would have got so heavily slated had he only lost one league game all season.

Thought the rest of the article was very good though. :)

Time for footballers to reveal their whereabouts 8:49pm on 11 Nov 2008 They'd be better off pumping all the money this will require into the anti racism campaign instead of sweeping these disgusting monkey chants etc under the carpet.
Does anyone actually know of a drug that would make someone better at football? There should be random testing for steroids but I doubt anyone plays better due to the use of recreational drugs.

Benitex has done things behind closed doors. O Neill is the one who can't stay out of the papers. The story was picked up in the rags and O'Neill confirmed them.

How is that Benitez's fault?

Of course he can, what are you talking about?!

Name a manager that doesn't want to get more than market value for his players and pay as little as possible for new ones.

Benitez has barely spoken about the matter other than to point out that he had said nothing until MON publicly lambasted him for 'going public.'

As previously stated what about an article on Fergusons double standards with regard to player persuits? Oh yeah, he doesn't manage Liverpool so you're not interested.
