What did 2008 bring for Australia? 06:38am on 30 Dec 2008 Cricket:
Australia showed its true colors in Sydney against India. From that point onwards, it's been a steep downhill slide for the Aussies. Deservedly so! FWIW, nobody in India thinks the Aussies won that series. Quite the opposite, in fact!

Today's defeat to South Africa was the icing on the cake. I, for one, look forward to a 3-0 whitewash of the Aussies by the Africans.

I pity poor Pointing. He must have FINALLY run out of excuses. What this has done is show Pointing's true captaincy skills. He's an utter failure as a captain (but not in statistical terms). CLUELESS.
A global focus 10:36am on 04 Dec 2008 You do cover a lot of British stories, especially the ones involving the Queen, which are of no interest to many world viewers.

This story deserved coverage. It was a failure of the system. There were lessens to be learned by all.
Propaganda war 11:33am on 22 Aug 2008 I have been watching BBC World's coverage and as a neutral 'observer' from India, my opinion is that your reporters and news readers have been pro-west than neutral.

(Note that I am not talking about the actual conflict itself (who's right and who's wrong), but your coverage of it.)
Comments on changes 3:15pm on 22 Apr 2008 BBC World: Light Grey on White for program time announcements -- amazing! Can't see anything at all on LCD displays if not viewing straight-on!.

This is sheer stupidity. Gathering feedback from a few will not give you the right opinion. Focus groups don't give you the correct feedback.

I can assure you that these changes have not had the desired effect.

And look at the amount of horizontal space you are wasting with your ticker at the bottom. Two problems here -- the indentation and the addition of 'NEWS' to BBC WORLD. What is important? Don't you think as a news channel you need to provide more space for real news?
New News 09:09am on 21 Apr 2008 "BBC World" was enough. What's the need for "BBC World News"?

'BBC' IS 'News' for most of the world and I don't see a need to emphasize that by appending 'News' to 'BBC World'.

Which of the two sounds better?
