There are, of course, magazines that have articles about celebrities but there are none that are like Hello magazine in terms of content.
Conflict of party and private lifestyles 4:05pm on 10 Jun 2009 behcas: It is totally possible as one of my friends from China was awarded a scolarship for Nottingham University, which she wanted to attend.
As if 1989 never happened 4:06pm on 02 Jun 2009 China has changed a hell of a lot since the events of 1989 that caused it so many problems. China today is a lot more open about many events and problems that happen, and people have a little more freedom than they used to have. I personally wish that China would just hold it's hands up and say "We made a terrible mistake during the events of June 1989 and we are deeply sorry". Then this will be all over, and people can get back to their lives. Constantly hiding the truth time and time again does nothing to help China move forward.

Saying sorry to the Chinese 9:09pm on 13 Feb 2009 There is an unfortunate issue in the UK, and possible other countries, where the word 'sorry' is said out of politeness and without real meaning.

If I pushed you in the street causing you to drop your belongings and I just said 'sorry', it's just a word. If I say 'sorry' then offer to pick up your belongings, then I am making an effort to apologise.

I think Chinese seldom say sorry for exactly this reason. It's better to apologise for your action by doing some good, than it simply saying one word.

lslove: It is a shame that you have experienced verbal attacks whilst in the UK. I hope you can still find a way to enjoy your time here and know that not all people are as bad as this.
Saying sorry to the Chinese 10:23am on 13 Feb 2009 Saying sorry is normal for every country, but it's more important in China. If you have done something wrong, you must say sorry sincerly. Look at the milk scandle. Even though the companies killed many many people, the people in charge still said sorry in public. In China this means something. In the UK, people would not believe the sorry.

The troublemakers are countries and citizens of those countries that throw mindless abuse and insults at China, and persistently referring to the past. The same people that attempt to stop China growing. The same people that attempt to take parts of China away from itself. China will never fail, no matter how hard the west wants it to.

Taking the new year train (2) 12:52pm on 26 Jan 2009 Julianrocks: Sorry that you do not believe my message was true. You should speak to a real Chinese and find out about the single child policy. If you live outside of a big city, you are free to have many children. If you live in a city, then you are restricted to one child unless you bribe an official or pay a huge fine.
