BBC Red Button Changes on Freeview 5:02pm on 20 Oct 2009 So two areas get HD from 2010 and as a result the whole country has to lose services. This makes a massive dent in sporting coverage for little gain.
BBC HD Channel Up To Nine Hours Per Day 09:08am on 17 Mar 2009 You asked if we want consistency on the schedule. From my point of view, consistency is very important. We normally watch TV via freeview (I don't have sky and the PVR is a freeview box) and so our viewing is driven by what is listed in the freeview EPG. We only tend to watch BBC HD (via freesat) if we know something is on that we want to watch. If the channels can't be simulcast then at least knowing what was likely to be on, and on what days would make life easier.

So by default the DOG isn't shown unless somebody deliberately says it needs to be shown. At least if it is this way round and something goes wrong the viewer doesn't suffer.
What Should We Do With Our Pageflake? 12:27pm on 11 Nov 2008 I don't use the BBC's pageflake but that is mainly because I use netvibes rather than pageflakes. If you had it on netvibes then I'd have added it to one of my tabs.

I can see the sponsored content box but not the adverts (because the adblock plus extension on firefox is removing them). I'd guess it won't be long before somebody will come up with a greasemonkey or stylish script that will remove it (for firefox users at least).
BBC HD: DOGs Update 10:47am on 21 Oct 2008 Its not perfect as my preference has always been to get rid of DOGs entirely.

However, this is a step in the right direction so I thank the BBC for listening and taking action.
