We set the theme; you take the photos 12:57pm on 13 May 2009 eager007, I am extremely proud that our relatively small country's BBC is truly admired across the world and is welcoming in return, but for example in the 'Sky' theme, not one published picture was taken in Britain - it just rankles. (And "not enough facilities"? The people who are posting obviously have access to the Internet, which has a multitude of photo-sharing opportunities, so the apparent assertion that only the BBC website can provide this service seems stretched. I really don't want people thinking I am Brits-Only, that's ridiculous, I just feel obliged to respond to that aspect of the comment.) And I had a really nice pic of a Windermere sunset that went ignored.
We set the theme; you take the photos 7:03pm on 12 May 2009 I am going to sound rather bitter now, but it does annoy me a bit that the vast majority of photos published are taken outside the British Isles. Not only would it be nice for the British Broadcasting Corporation to show how beautiful Britain can be, but it puts us amateurs who holiday here at a distinct disadvantage. Oh, there's that bitter thing again.
