Got me there. I must have decided to play devil's advocate to provoke a reaction from someone.

Look at my other posts prior to that, I really quite like Nick. I think he's fairly accurate most of the time, so I must have been on my own anti-labour wave of hysteria at the time I critiscised him.

No Blame game. You actually prove the latter half of my point perfectly, that you are so biased, you perceive others who disagree with you as Pro-labour. I am by the way a tory voter. I am not, however, blinkered like you. I have the intelligence to think for myself.

Nik was the president of the Oxford university conservative association don't you know, and in the late 1980's was chairman for a year of the national young conservatives!!!!

Perhaps he is just trying to maintain balance in his reporting, or more likely most of you are so biased in your own thoughts, that if you see a comment that doesn't agree exactly with your own, you immediately accuse the author of being a supporter of the other side. Ludicrous really.

This is a highly principled move by a principled man, and everyone I've spoken to be they Tories, labourites or lib-dems are totally behind him.

Gorden Brown has gained nothing from this.
Tipping point? 12:25pm on 23 May 2008 As one of those who thought it time for a change in 1997, the parallels are remarkable. There is no way back for Labour. I don't know anyone who wants to vote for them. I would vote Tory at the next election, but I live in Liverpool, and only the lib-dems can unseat the labour candidate. I will vote tactically therfore, simply to get labour out. There are many like me, and Labour can't stop it.

Labour are going to suffer what the Tories did in 1997 when 2010 comes around.
