Benitez faces biggest test 09:16am on 21 Oct 2009 Rafa really does seem clueless at times, which in Europe is strange as he normally gets his tactics spot on. As a United fan, last nights result bought a smile to my handsome face but I am weary of the wounded animal on Sunday. Don't be surprised if both Gerrard and Torres are both fit. After all, if the are 75/80% fit they are better than the other options and resting them and getting beat would end the season.

The way we have been lining up and playing under Cappello is spot on, and scousers will have to accept that pushing Gerrard wide and not letting him do whatever he wants is better for the team as a whole, and is the only way that Lampard and Gerrard can play in the same 11.
Left shaking by Brown revelation 08:17am on 14 Oct 2009 The only advice I would give managers is this: If your last game of the season has no importance, do what we did on our last game on Sundays. Play everyone out of position for a half. Put a striker in goal, wingers at CB etc. It is quite fun and it also gives everyone an idea how difficult each others jobs are.

He's not got the excuse of being unfit or not sharp, and yet seems to escape this hype about being past it.

Ferguson revels in classic win 08:22am on 21 Sep 2009 Great derby, and a just result in the end. Hughes moaning they were robbed was silly, they were second best for the whole of the second half and deserved to lose the game. I think it is ominous for the rest of the league that United haven't reached top gear yet in a game and yet are still winning games.

Defeat shouldn't mask England's progress 07:59am on 11 Sep 2009 Firstly I would like to congratulate the ladies on their achievements. Watching the game, and the goals again this morning, one thing struck me. The actual goalposts seem massive, and the goals scored were like being scored past children. I think if the actual frames were reduced by 10-15% in size for the ladies game i think this would actually improve the game. It would force the technique to be better as it seems the keepers have very little chance with a lot of shots and often get lobbed on their line.
