Magic moments 8:09pm on 18 Sep 2008 I might be one of the few to say this, but I enjoyed the Paralympics more than the Olympics itself. Most of the sports involved I was happy to watch, unlike the Olympics.

The best memory for me of the Games was Eleanor Simmonds winning her first Gold Medal. The emotion of it all got to me and I was crying with her.

Thank you also to the BBC for giving us the opportunity to see the Games in action. I was forever watching the red button action and was trully thrilled with our team performance on the whole. A special thanks to the GB Wheelchair Basketball team, you have a new fan in me and I'd love to watch you play more as you put your all into each and every game. Not bad for someone who didn't care much for basketball before the Paralympics.

I must congratulate EVERY Team GB member for giving your all for your sports and your country, and keeping the FEEL GOOD factor alive and well for Great Britain.

Thank you one and all and I wish you the very best of British for London - 2012
Second race cruel on Weir 10:43am on 14 Sep 2008 At last, common sense has prevailed and David can finally receive his well earned Gold Medal.

Congratulations David, you would always have been the Champion in many eyes anyway.

Hopefully this debacle may help sort out situations ahead of races in future and not tarnish the sports concerned.
Second race cruel on Weir 01:29am on 14 Sep 2008 No matter the result of the re-run on Tuesday, David Weir IS the 2008 Paralympic 800m Gold Medalist. The Aussies can hang their heads in shame for pulling this stunt. David has battled his way thru these Games and finally got his Gold Medal only to have it snatched away by poor losers and a very weak appeal situation.

SHAME ON YOU AUSTRALIA!!!!

DAVID WEIR, YOU ARE THE CHAMPION.

Hopefully there will be no medal for Australia in the re-run, it may teach them a lesson on sportsmanship.

Go on David, the whole of the United Kingdom is behind you!!

Thanks for the BBC coverage of the Paralympics, although I do wish there was more to see of them on BBC TV, but then you cannot please everyone all the time. I am enjoying watching Team GB do their best for themselves, their chosen sports and their country. My heartfelt congratulations goes out to each and every one of them. I have been moved by some of the performances I have witnessed over the past few days and it has been a privilege to watch them thanks to the BBC during the day and evening and Paralymicsport.tv for streaming live throughout the night.

The only critisism I have with the BBC is the lack of tennis shown throughout the year. I know it is shown frequently on Sky and Eurosport but being on a low income I cannot afford to subscribe to the packages to allow me to view them. If it was at all possible for some action from Flushing Meadow to be broadcast on the BBC, that would be excellent.

Thanks once again for the coverage from Beijing and I would like to think that Team GB will get the warm welcome home that the Olympic team received a couple of weeks ago (pass that comment on to BBC News chief please)
Hynd and Johnson shine on the big stage 01:55am on 13 Sep 2008 Firstly I would like to thank the BBC for showing more of the Paralympics than ever before, it has been a priviledge to watch the athletes in their various sports.

Secondly, I have been moved by what I have witnessed in Beijing, more than one tear has been shed so far and no doubt there will be a few more to come too.

I watched Sam and Liz's races today and the interviews which followed and I totally agree with the previous posting. A simple 'Well done' wouldn't even cover the pride I felt with Sam and Liz's performances in the pool and their excellent interviews too.

Thank you Sam and Liz for (hopefully) giving many young and not so young potential sportsmen and women the belief that they too can go for Gold at future Games.

Congratulations to Team GB, you are Stars shining bright in Beijing.
