Abramovich never pays over the odds for a player?

30 mill for Shevchenko (who did nothing to justify this fee before you loaned him back to AC Milan)
21 mill for SWP (who you sold back to City for ca 9 mill)
10 mill for Scott Parker (who you flogged for a song to Newcastle)
Add the name 'Glen Johnson' into the mix and you can see that Roman has frequently paid over the odds for players...
The Hoy Wonder leads British bonanza 01:48am on 20 Aug 2008 They speak of 'not being involved in promoting cycling...' Personally, I would have thought the emphatic success Team GB's cyclists have had at the velodrome this year would be do no end of good for the promotion of track cycling in Britain.
