I'm puzzled by the reasoning of the point scoring change being implemented so late. No reasonable organisation would ever move the goal posts so late on. It's like the FA making a win worth four points halfway through the football season. The governing bodies of F1 are trivialising their own sport.

Can't wait to see Jenson Button in a competitive car for once. I will be following Brawn GP with interest.
BBC iPlayer & N95: Update 2:42pm on 21 Jan 2009 reply to Peter Maling and others, having "connection required" errors...

This is probably down to your N95's Real Player app and not the iplayer.

Go to your real layer app on you phone and select options> settings> streaming>network.

You will notice you can only select one default access point. You will probably find this access point set to your home wifi access point (hence it works at home). For you to use the iPlayer on the move you will manually need to switch this setting to your mobile access point before you start the iplayer app.

iplayer does NOT ask real player to ask you to select an access point when you run the streaming video. It goes with the default on the real player app, EVEN if you have selected a different access point when opening the iPlayer app. This causes a conflict and you get the error you are reporting.

NOTE, If you've used mobile data services on the move,make sure you switch the real player setting back when you want to use the iplayer on you phone with wifi. Otherwise you will continue to pay the data fees to your mobile provider despite having selected your wifi at iplayer app startup.
No shame to European defeat 10:58am on 22 Sep 2008 Whilst I agree with a number of your points, I have to disagree with the below statement;

"There were no weak links in this side. And Europe won two-and-a-half points from the first four matches. How could anyone know the normally dazzling Sergio Garcia would fold so limply against Kim? The Spaniard may have had a poor week but you couldn't predict with any certainty he would lose on the 14th."

Simply put Faldo didn't pick a singles order on form over the weekend but over the year. This was a mistake. Garcia had been poor all weekend and he was likely to lose under pressure form the American crowd. It doesn't matter how many you lose by, anyway. Faldo should have put Poulter out first and let the team feed off his confidence.
Thunder Bolt creates shockwaves 11:51am on 17 Aug 2008 I have to say I feel a little cheated by Bolt. He may look back and rue his celebrations.

With the track being so fast - as he said himself - we may have lost the chance so see anyone go inside 9.6. More to the point he may look back when he's retired saying i could have done 9.59, whilst some as yet unknown athlete does 9.61. I hope he has the drive to go on from this.

He'll cream the 200m of course but will that be enough for him?
Russia look the real deal 05:50am on 22 Jun 2008 It's funny, but when the draw for the Euro 2008 qualifying groups was made our "all knowing" press said that England had an easy group.

Look at the two teams who went through. It was the only qualifying group where both qualifying teams went on to make the knockout stages in the finals and look at Russia, who were nothing short of stunning last night.

Now I will admit, England should have done better than they did, but perhaps England's Press should look at itself and say "Hey" it wasn't that easy after all.

If he can do it then best of luck to him. It can't be compared to switching from over to around the wicket, which has been mooted. Doing that is dangerous. The batsmen swapping hands is not. If you watch where the ball pitches on both shots it pitches on leg for a rightie. KP could have nurdled a couple through leg but decided to play a riskier shot and hit away from the leg field. Surely a bowler would want him to do that??

The attacking side has an indirect free kick. Carlos Tevez is lining up in the wall and he has a Dummy sticking out of his wasteband, for the purpose of providing a prop to any later goal celebration. After the ball is struck the ball brushes the dummy and goes in the top corner. What is the decision Goal, or Goal kick? Should anyone be cautioned?

When I say Dummy I am refering to the Pacifier not the player.
